Beyonce decided to rock her fashion sense at Radio City Music Hall in a short, sleeveless Costume National LDB with silk insets. Silver and gold shoes are the focal point along with Egyptian-inspired eyes. What's also interesting is how she opted to wear two matching bracelets on each wrist.

Like the latest Calvin Klein Jeans ads, C'N'C Costume National's Fall 2008 campaign features non-celebrities. Only, you probably won't recognize these models because they were recruited from MySpace. Designer Ennio Capasa picked 12 models for their individuality and diversity.

Just as I said that it's normal for fashion designers to draw inspiration from one another, one more case popped up to further prove my point. This time, Costume National looked to Rodarte's Fall '08 collection to create one of the pieces in its 2009 Resort line. The fashion world, moi-self included, were awestruck by Rodarte's innovative, beautifully crafted Fall gowns (left).

Looks like Rachel Zoe went bananas at her jewelry charity auction last night at Decadestwo in LA. It also appears her and Nicole Richie have reconciled, as Nicole was there unassumingly surveying the offerings. Benefiting the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, Zoe auctioned off costume jewelry ranging from deco to decadent.

Metallics are nothing new. But blinding beading, luxe fabrics, sheer sheen, Lurex lovin', and sequin overload, were runway dominant. Think of it as an evolution; this season's offerings are far from shy, they are as heavy hitting as Metallica.

I'd like to think the fashion world is always ahead of the game and, last Fall, knew the world was going to unravel. Yikes — am I being a killjoy? It's just that a throw of Spring runways sent wrinkled, undone, mismatched, crinkled, off-kilter clothes into the mix.
