One day, a sophisticate and an art genius combined their shoe fetish and created Omelle. The rest, you can say, is history. I've seen a lot of unique footwear in my day, but designers Cherise Angelle and Nicole LaFave have created something truly amazing. Look closely and you can see where Cherise's sleek style melds with Nicole's hip nuances. Luxurious leathers paired with stand-out metal heels, crackled snakeskin warped into sleek shapes; it's the best of both worlds. Omelle shoes are not for the faint-hearted or those on a budget - prices range from $495 to $995. Yikes, at least we can enjoy them from a distance.

For Fall 2006, mixing gold, silver, and other metals is definitely a fashion "do," and it looks like the metallic trend is sticking around for spring. That's why I was drawn to this roomy Dolce & Gabbana Metallic Hobo, which would compliment any evening ensemble, whether you're accessorizing with 14-karat gold or sterling silver. It's made from crackled gold leather and accented with golden hardware and patches of bronze. I particularly like the sassy "D" and "G" logo charms dangling off the side. What do you guys think?
