I really loathe mirrored medicine cabinets, especially when they are located on a side wall. No one would ever really use this for a mirror because of its awkward placement. But it's not a detail that I would sweat enough to run out and buy a different style or spend the time to cover the hole. My quick & stylish fix cost me just $6. A Look at the Accessories of Chanel Paris-Londres Métiers d’Art Collection

Yesterday Karl Lagerfeld presented his “Métiers d’Art” collection in London. This collection is shown outside of the official fashion calendar and is unique to Chanel. It was established in 2002 following the acquisition of the master Parisian ateliers who have been collaborating with the house for decades. It's a celebration of the exceptional decorative craft of these ateliers.

I spent the sunsetting part of my day examining close-ups of the accessories. Since the collection is a tribute to the decorative craft, I wanted to use my discriminating eye. The collection tickled my fascination with vampires - moody, tailored, heavily embellished looks. Seeing as how the inspiration was the "English chic" that Coco Chanel herself was introduced to by her British lovers, Boy Capel and the Duke of Westminster, this makes perfect sense.

From jeweled crosses to sparkling chain bags, these could outfit a fashionable remake of Bram Stoker's Dracula. I especially love the silver-tipped shoe and gold metal lace gloves. The placement of jewels in the hair and on garments is an inspiring technique. In all their goth splendor, these accessories are indeed a modern tribute to the decorative.

Trend Alert: Vampires Beware!

Not too long ago, Ashley Olsen was channeling Buffy with a bold cross necklace. Religious beliefs aside, crosses have a way of looking cool, in that gothic, badass sort of way. I am still on the prowl for a Fabworthy gothic cross, maybe this Fall I will score the perfect one. The chosen one to ward off all evil.

Cross Shaped MP3 Player Fits Across Your Heart

The Cross MP3 player first caught my eye because of its shape, but I was even more intrigued when I noticed the player, which combines an element of geekery and jewelry, is only $36.

I learned from 2dayBlog that it features a built-in loudspeaker, has phone-book, electronic files, FM radio, voice recording and supports MP3 and WAV files. No word whether it was created to represent a geometrical figure or the four cardinal points, but if it is supposed to be a religious player I think it definitely beat out the iBelieve shuffle player.

See Robert Pattinson as a 19th Century Heartbreaker in the Bel Ami Poster

Robert Pattinson will play literary lover boy and social climber Georges Duroy in Bel Ami, and the poster for the film shows off the actor in the middle of a number of women who fall under his gaze in the drama. Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Christina Ricci flank the dapper actor, dressed in his finest Parisian suit (perfect for seducing anyone who crosses his path).

The film is set for release on Mar. 2, and you can see a larger version of the poster after the jump.

The Bourne Legacy Teaser: Jeremy Renner Takes Over For Matt Damon

Matt Damon may have exited the Bourne franchise, but his successor, Jeremy Renner, is primed and ready to go. In this brief teaser for The Bourne Legacy, we meet his character, Aaron Cross, an operative being prepped for Treadstone, the CIA program that turned Bourne into an elite government assassin. We shouldn't be surprised that there are more agents like Bourne, apparently, because as Edward Norton's character intones, "Jason Bourne was the tip of the iceberg."

As we see Cross being groomed, and then using his jaw-dropping skills in the field, I let go of my wistfulness for Damon, because Renner's new incarnation is such a badass. Plus, the fact that there are mainstays from the Bourne series here, like director Tony Gilroy and supporting cast members Joan Allen and David Strathairn, gives the new film some consistency, even if Damon isn't there. Though he'll always be the original, I can't wait to see what Renner brings to the table, because from the looks of the trailer, he's the right choice to play Damon's successor. "I Snooped On My Boyfriend's Facebook...Now What?"

I checked my boyfriend's Facebook while he was away and found that he has been regularly messaging his ex-girlfriend. I know he doesn't want to be with her - they've tried - it didn't work out and they ended it two years ago. He told me they stay in touch, but I didn't realize he meant they message each other at least once a week. The messages are normal (they live in different countries), "How are you. What are you up to this week? Miss you - hope all is well. This is what is going on with me. . . blah blah blah."

He hasn't done anything to cross the line indicating that they're more than just friends, but the thing is he LOVED this girl and wanted to marry her just three years ago. He tells me he could never be with her again due to his beliefs (he's agnostic and can't be with women that are religious).

Despite all of this, I'm hurt. I wish he didn't have this tight relationship with his ex, even though it is a respectful one.

I can't admit that I know this, or that it's been bothering me, because I snooped. What should I do? I'm seriously thinking about breaking up, because I feel if one is done with a relationship, they are done and there should be no need to connect all the time. If I do choose to break up with him though, what do I say my reason is? He has been nothing but sweet/nice to me.
