Kate Moss doesn't usually stray away from her sleek modus operandi, but when she does, it's just as amazing. While out celebrating her bro's birthday in London, the Super donned a pair of funky lace-up jeans. It's very Guns N' Roses circa '90, and I love how the lacing goes all the way up her legs.

It's bound to happen. Everyone starts to hibernate as the days get shorter and the temp gets colder. However, that's no excuse to dress drab.

There are some funkier-than-funky jeans out there right now. What started with a few holes has now taken off into all-out shreds, colorful paint splatters, psychedelic tie-dye, see-through mesh, lace-insets, and so on. One of my favorite denim brands, Siwy, takes the prize for designing some of the most daring denim — these Sheer Mesh Skinny Jeans ($242) are '80s sexy but only fit for bold fashionistas.

For Fall '09, Emily Current and Meritt Elliott mixed together inspiration from circus and Victorian life to create a quirky cool collection of denim. Seriously, where else can you a find a rugged Victorian jacket? For the upcoming season, the duo's famous boyfriend jeans were nowhere in sight, and instead replaced with an array of skinny jeans and wide-legged cuts in dark vintage washes.

Not so fast, Rih! Let me examine your cool top before you rush off to dinner. I love how boyfriend shirts give off a sexy, masculine appeal.

Emily Current and Meritt Elliott are flipping the switch this Fall with a new denim line called Deadstock. Unlike their namesake line, which is known for its deconstructed and distressed styles, Deadstock is the complete opposite with clean lines and a preserved feel. “Meritt and I were wearing boyfriend jeans every single day, and we kept saying, ‘I want to be a rockabilly.
