I remember it too clearly. I was 12 and my dad decided it was time I see one of his favorite scary movies: The Shining. I bring you one of my personal scariest movie scenes because BuzzSugar's scariest movie bracket comes down the The Shining and The Exorcist. The winner is announced Saturday/Halloween night, but I already have a winner in my black heart. Those twins! Freak, me, out. They were totally unexpected and eerily innocent . . . or were they? Then, jump to twin bloodbath. And poor little Danny channeling "Tony," his imaginary finger friend, to cope. I turned to my pillow and comfort food after this one . . . Happy Halloween!

Another day, another drama-packed day in The City. As always, there was major attitude-giving between Olivia and Erin, both at the office and at the Elle event. But the party went on and Whitney, Whitney's boy Freddy and Roxy, Kelly, Olivia, and Erin were all there. Speaking of Freddy, was it necessary for him to bring his dad on his date? So not. Whitney handled it well, though. For a split second I hoped that Jay would win her heart back in the end, but not so much. Let's see how well you were paying attention to the clothes.

Happy day to all those fabulous fathers out there! Hopefully you have some time planned with your pops today. What am I doing with my cool dad? Heading to Napa with the fam for a fun day in the sun playing croquet. Sounds yuppie, I know, but it's fun and it's what dad wanted. And that's what today is all about. RIP: Donald Fisher, Co-Founder of the Gap

Our hearts go out to the friends and family of Donald Fisher, co-founder of the Gap, who died on Sunday, in San Francisco. Donald founded the American casual label we all know (and love), with his wife Doris in 1969. The company just celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Named for the “generation gap” between Baby Boomers and their parents, the Gap revolutionized retail - the Fishers were inspired by a frustrating shopping experience. The couple had difficulty exchanging an ill-fitting pair of jeans and couldn't find the right denim size with the assortment at local department stores. They opened the first Gap store in the foggy city, sales reached $2 million the following year, and the rest is retail history.

I just found out my dad met Don circa '72 - they did some business together. Don was wearing a denim Levi's suit that my dad coveted and ended up hunting down and buying for himself. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, eh?

With Creative Director Patrick Robinson creating new heat for the established brand, the Gap, and Don's denim doings, live on.

Carlos Falchi's Girl Graffitis His Bags

Now that Carlos Falchi's daughter Kate is all done with school - she graduated Trinity University and Parsons The New School For Design - she's joining his team. First task? Helping her dad design the Graffiti Collection consisting of six bags and a few small leather goods. Retailing from $395 to $1,195, the line will make its debut on Sept. 10 at Bergdorf Goodman during Fashion’s Night Out. Twenty-five-year-old Kate's graffiti is a result of listening to music with pops, who once designed clothes for rockers like Miles Davis, Mick Jagger, and Jerry Garcia. I can't wait to see what father and daughter dream up next.
