Wet n' Wild: Cut-Out One Pieces

For these I want you to envision yourself poolside in Palm Springs or the Hamptons - somewhere cool, calm and collected - not so much wet n' wild as Rio!. I have really come to appreciate cut-out one pieces over the years. Yes, they may create some of the funkiest tan lines but they are so Bond girl! Also, they are nice tummy hiders! I have a DKNY one that is neon green one shoulder with a side cut out & it really stands out amongst the crowd. I prefer these Bond girl suits in graphic prints or solids - let the peekaboo skin speak for itself.

Sometimes that little girl inside us refuses to grow up, like when it comes to our endless fascination with all things Disney-princess-related. While our adult selves may cringe at princess culture and the outdated stereotypes that come along with it, there's just something special about the Disney princesses we grew up with like Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel. And they aren't all damsels in distress; the newer crop of the crowned ladies (including the latest, Princess Sofia the First) have attempted to be better role models for little girls. But whether these Disney princesses (or, for the purists, animated heroines) are classics or newbies, they've inspired many creative artists who've transformed them into thought-provoking modern art. Lock-Out Trailer: "Loose Cannon" Guy Pearce Goes to Space

For the worst criminals in the world, a maximum-security prison on this planet will no longer suffice. In Lock-Out, the worst of the worst get to go to space. For some reason, the president's daughter is on a "goodwill mission" at the place where the most dangerous dudes in the world serve their time. During her stay, the inmates have an uprising, and there's one guy in the world who can stop them. The gorgeous Guy Pearce plays the bad boy Snow who is (and I quote) "the best there is - but he's a loose cannon."

My first impressions when I saw that Lock-Out trailer? It's a high-tech Con Air in space: the inmates take over, and they're doomed to have an epic crash down to Earth. However, the movie does have the same producers as Liam Neeson's thriller Taken, which proved to be a decent film. In the same vein, the actress who played Neeson's kidnapped daughter in the film, Maggie Grace, plays the president's daughter in Lock-Out - looks like she's got the damsel-in-distress gig down pat.
