Saks Fifth Avenue is now letting you live vicariously through your favorite style icons of decades past. If like me, you wish you experienced the roaring '20s, let's stock up on fun flapper items, much like The Great Gatsby characters. Prefer to dress like Audrey Hepburn?

Derek Lam is always searching for the feminine ideal, and I think he may have hit the nail on the head with this collection (even if it was a little scatterbrained)! Ever one of my favorites, I have to say, he channeled a little bit of young Oscar de la Renta on this turn...
In fact, things were a little wild!

At Badgley Mischka, the 20's was the muse decade. Populating the runway were art deco dresses, dropped waists, and so much black and white Coco Chanel would have been proud.
While they may have been channeling Chanel, the collection remained recognizable as Badgley Mischka.

Whisking us away to Miami circa 1940, Fab has a new favorite! The Abaete Spring collection was polished, colorful and youthful. A mix of art deco and screen siren style, here is a collection to covet.

Many fashion houses dipped into the archives for Spring inspiration. We all have fantasies of being a Pink Lady from Grease, a swinger in the '60s, or a flower child from the '70s. Retro looks have been updated with fresh fabrics and modern flourishes — see the PYTs at Blugirl (pictured).

I never tire of boutique parties. There's always amazing eye candy, yummy apps, and irresistible bubbly involved. A couple weeks ago, I attended an Armani party.

LA Fashion Week recently wrapped up and there is some undiscovered talent to share. I sifted through the collections and spotted the best pieces from the likes of Maxine Dillon, Kevan Hall, Samora, and even Project Runway alum, Jarrell Scott. Most designs catered to LA's laid-back style, but a few stand-outs, like Oliver Tolentino, proved that the City of Angels can also create some of the most decadent gowns.

Variety is the spice of life. This week's top picks span decadence and flirtation, ladylike and ultracool. This is a Paz Vega debut for Fab and what an entrance in this black thigh-slit Gucci Resort gown.
