Ombre is beginning to rear its pretty head and while it feels very warm-weathery, I'm already seeking a new ombre addition. I'm still on the fence though — some of these items are dope, while some of them are dull. Here's the dilemma: It's a trendy motif, but only looks good on fine fabrics.

The maxi has proven to be a favorite Summer dress, especially amongst the starlets. But there are so many fabulous styles to choose from. Dip dyed maxis are both comfortable and unique.

This one's for all you ballsy girls, myself included. These J Brand Out of Control Jeans ($209) are just that — OOC. The dark tie-dye rinse is an uptown ode to its hippie origin, and I'm sweet on the slim straight leg.

We're in the thick of Summer (bask), but one must focus on the fashion horizon. Let H&M's Fall collection, modeled by Sigrid Ågren, inspire. Silhouettes are experimental — surprised to see some cocooning — there's a definite '80s influence, and layered wooly knits actually make me miss cozying up in the cabin.

Not too long ago, Saks invited me to meet handbag designer Nancy Gonzalez. For those not familiar, Nancy has been delivering decadent — read: exotic — handbags since 1998. Think of a Nancy Gonzalez bag as a classic — up there with Chanel and Bottega Veneta — only spicier.

You loved Rachel Weisz in emerald green dip-dyed Valentino; how about Evangeline Lily in a turquoise version? At the Looking For Eric premiere, "Freckles" and new L'Oréal lady opted for a cool crisscross bodice and high slit, but it's the bright-to-dark turquoise hue I adore. With the high neck, pulling her hair back in a slick pony was totally a good call.
