To kick off our Countdown to NYE series, we're re-creating an outfit inspired by one of the ultimate '60s-era style icons, Edie Sedgwick. Edie had a ground-breaking aesthetic - short hair, dramatic eye makeup (it was said that she often wore multiple strips of false lashes), and thigh-baring hemlines. Her look is incredibly easy to channel and mostly defined by fitted silhouettes and a graphic black and white color palette. Speaking of being so head over heels in love with someone you want to marry them as quickly as possible and you would do anything, anything, anything for them . . . here's a little something you may not be familiar with, but should be. The Dramarama video isn't anything special, except there is sporadic footage of Edie Sedgwick throughout, but the song is fueled by the love-induced passion people long to feel. So press play, stand up and dance like you're in love for the first time. Let those positive (or negative) emotions run free and revel in them. What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and Netflix) on Tuesdays. So each week in What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday, I sort through the best of the batch and tell you what to add to your queue. This week I can also tell you what not to rent: Premonition starring Sandra Bullock. You will most likely regret it.

Factory Girl
Despite the controversy this movie stirred up during production, the film didn't do well at the box office, nor did it wow the critics. Still, it's an interesting movie to see because of the time period it deals with and the subject matter: Edie Sedgwick. Sienna Miller channels Sedgwick, the glamorous starlet of the 1960s who became pop artist Andy Warhol's (played by Guy Pearce) muse. In the movie Sedgwick also flirts with a musician character (played by Hayden Christiansen) who is clearly based on Bob Dylan. The movie chronicles Sedgwick's rise to fame and subsequent fall into obscurity. The costumes in this film are fantastic, as is Miller's makeup, both of which you can get for yourself, thanks to my friend Fab!

I Want This Wardrobe: Factory Girl

Today's 'It' girl Sienna Miller plays the original 'It' girl Edie Sedgwick in the movie Factory Girl hitting theaters today. After getting the inside scoop from the film's costume designer John Dunn, I learned that Sienna's wardrobe was, not surprisingly, mostly vintage - except a pair of killer Jimmy Choo boots. As you can see, all these wardrobe pieces are still stylish as ever. As much as I would love to go back in time to snag some of these Fab pieces for myself, check out what I did find, ready and available to all of us. Movie Preview: Factory Girl

After weeks upon weeks of speculation and controversy - concerning both Bob Dylan's outrage over the film and Sienna Miller behaving like a child in general - Factory Girl is finally set to open nationwide this Friday, February 9. Sienna Miller plays Edie Sedgwick, muse to artist Andy Warhol (played by Guy Pearce) during the Factory's heyday in the 1960s.

I'm a little torn on this one; the costumes, the freewheeling '60s vibe, and Pearce's performance look really spot-on. But Miller rubs me the wrong way, and I'm uneasy about the inclusion of this "Bob Dylan-esque" character. Check out the trailer and tell me: Do you have any interest in Factory Girl?

Announcing the 2012 SAG Awards Nominees

The 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations are out this morning, and we're bringing you all the action - watch our streaming video of the SAG Awards announcement, which we're replaying all morning long. Judy Greer and Regina King were up bright and early in LA to do the honors, a few of which went to Judy's movie The Descendants. Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Leonardo DiCaprio are once again up against each other in the lead actor category, which should make for a fun race, though we were disappointed to see Ryan Gosling's name left off the list. Bridesmaids continues to rake in the early award-season love as well, with the cast and Melissa McCarthy both scoring nods. The Screen Actors Guild Awards air live on Jan. 29 at 8/7c on TNT.

In the TV category, we're excited to see the love for Game of Thrones, which is up against perennial favorites including Dexter and Breaking Bad. Steve Carell also has at least one more chance to win for The Office, and with tomorrow's Golden Globes nominations announcement, we'll see if he's recognized again.
