Who Wore It Better? Electric Blue Jeans

Have you all warmed up to bright bottoms yet? Obviously the celeb set has. These two blondies have had a visit from the electric blue jean genie. We saw the Ksubi ones on Ashlee Simpson not too long ago and here is Posh in a similar combo. I have to say I hope the next electric blue jean sighting consists of the pairing with a color other than black; I think electric blue looks awesome with white and heather grey as well. As far as these two looks go, I'm thinking Ashlee wore them better. I really don't like VB's chunky belt, and the sporty jacket is too 80s with the bright jeans. Ashlee's top is more flowy and modern. What do you all think?

spharrell decided to see what all the hoopla was about with bright jeans and decided to give it a whirl. She kept the rest of her look simple and toned down to contrast with her electric blue jeans. She looks great and the slightly shimmery blazer is Fab.

Sneak Peek! Ashlee Simpson's Collection for Wet Seal

We recently dished that Ashlee Simpson hooked up with Wet Seal to bring us a clothing collection inspired by her own punky pop wardrobe. We have captured a few photos of the collection, set to hit stores on April 22, along with her new album, Bittersweet World.

Judging from the recent news of Ashlee and Pete's engagement, it's no surprise the singer was influenced by love. Who knew Ashlee was such a fan of pink?! The collection is not all about romance, however. You'll also find electric blue skinny jeans, animal-print tops, and rocker tees, all in the affordable price range of $16 to $20.

Trend Alert: The New Mini Skirts

I am sure you all have a classic blue denim mini skirt in your closet; I think it qualifies as a wardrobe staple. But after being struck by white lightening and the resurgence of bright denim it's not surprising this warm weather skirt has taken on new forms. The new mini skirts are still fun and flirty but are freshly updated; I'm thinking a white one would be too cool for school.

Here is the little Simpson sis looking electric! While I am way less interested in her romantic life, her fashion life is booming; and really, that's all that matters to me! She's definitely aspiring for the rocker girlfriend look here, with a bit of new wave. One thing is for sure: today's PYTs know what colors suit them.
