Jewelry designer J. Mundo and her husband live in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she creates her affordable and one-of-a-kind vintage jewels. She gathers her pieces at flea markets, antique shops and from the personal collections of family and friends. New materials are combined with vintage elements to make for unique designs. All of her pieces have a fun name relating to past and present movies that the duo loves. And Now Presenting (left), $58, is just one of the many feminine and beautiful creations by J. Mundo. Prices range from $12 to $70.

Celebrity Style: Christina Milian

Singer Christina Milian is on the prowl as she arrives at a restaurant on Sunset Strip in LA. Most people don't wear a corset top and leopard pencil skirt to dinner, but since the Strip is very happening and trendy, it makes sense. Christina's fashion sense doesn't normally wow me, but here she is looking mighty sexy and surprisingly non-cheesy. Look of the Day: Cable Knit Cutie

I'm smitten with gogosushi's cozy outfit. For maximum warmth, the cable knit cutie layered her tweed shorts and chic DIY Cavour print tee with tights and a nubby sweater. Notice how she's on to the over the knee boots trend. I love it all, however, the prize goes to her buttery soft vintage Yves Saint Laurent satchel bag - swoon.

eBay and Etsy have some competition. Except, Market Publique - dubbed the vintage marketplace - is solely dedicated to vintage fashion. Shoes, bags, dresses, lingerie, suits - as long as it's pre-worn, it's fair game. The site also has a social networking component; users can leave comments on specific items. It also has a blog with cool info. Become a seller or just a buyer of all things fabulously antique. I'm off to peruse, you coming?

Kate Cusack Zipper Jewelry uses both gold (brass) and silver (aluminum) zippers and twists and turns it into fresh necklaces, flowered brooches, and conversational bracelets. Fashion Recession: Fab's Guide to Savvy Shopping, Part III

By now, you've already given yourself a monthly shopping allowance and reintroduced yourself to your closet. Let's move forth.

Tip #6: There is no better time to hit the sale racks than now. My Online Sale Alerts can help, as can SaleHabit.com, a.k.a. the Google for fashion sales. Be careful not to buy more just because the items you're finding are so cheap. There's no use in discount shopping if you're going to spend frivolously.

Other bargain online retailers to check out are eBay (and our eBay Find of the Week), Etsy, and pretty much every online retailer's sale section. Don't overlook your local thrift shops; they're bound to have great deals.

Tip #7: Many of you already do this, but if you don't, start selling your unwanted goods on eBay and at your local consignment store. It may seem like a hassle - and at times it is - but it will feel great when the dough starts raking in. Designer brands tend to attract more customers, so dust off that Louis Vuitton you haven't carried in years and sell it to someone who will give it more love. Here are some tips for listing your items on eBay:

Sell items that are on trend, that people are currently lusting over. This will increase your selling chances.
Put yourself in the customer's shoes; what search words would you input in order to find your desired item? Use those words in the description headline.
To determine your starting amount, research eBay to find out what your competition has done. If possible, sell your item for a little less.
Though posting one picture is free, I say spend a few more dollars and take several photos of your item. It helps customers see every angle of your piece.
If you don't mind showing your face on the Internet, I recommend taking a picture of you in the item. It's more desirable than if it's sitting on your bed.

Love It or Hate It? Jewelry Made Out of Fashion Magazines

I've thought of a few things to do with old magazine pages (use as wrapping paper, wall art, book covers, etc) but making jewelry has never been one of them. That's why jewelry designer Lenore Solmo is one unique chick. Her cuffs, bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces, made from fashion magazine pages, can be found at her store on Etsy from $32 to $86. What do you think? Do you love this concept or hate it?
