Update! More Dish on Whitney Port's Eve & A Collection

Just as the first ad for Heidi Montag's collection surfaces, more details on Whitney's Eve & A line appear - coincidence?

Not that it matters, I'll take Whitney's collection over Heidi's any day. Due this Fall, she'll show us 20 pieces including a $195 hooded wool jacket that transforms into six different shapes, a $50 slip with corset detailing and a ruffled hem, and a $100 wool skirt with an adjustable hem.

Whitney came up with the label's name by combining her middle name with the first letter of her co-creative director's name. Her chosen color palette is heavy on the black and grey, with punches of purple and her favorite color pink tossed in for good measure. This flowered look to the left has my attention so far . . .

Whitney Port is becoming the third The Hills star to launch a clothing line, following after The Lauren Conrad Collection and Heidi Montag's Heidiwood.

Whitney's focus is on her new contemporary line Eve & A, which will launch with 17 pieces of party-worthy dresses, tops, and jackets in the Fall. She is designing the clothing with the help of co-creative director Adrienne Baravetto, and is backed by her father Jeff Port, who owns an apparel company. I think this collection promises to be the most successful out of the three.

SJP, Cindy, Heidi, and More Get Glam For amfAR's NYC Gala

Last night's amfAR gala in NYC brought out a roster of celebrities and models to toast the AIDS-fighting charity on the eve of Fashion Week. Fall 2012 Fashion Week begins today, but there were plenty of gorgeous gowns on display yesterday. Host Sarah Jessica Parker donned a pink Oscar de la Renta gown, which she paired with a leather motorcycle jacket and white gloves while posing for pictures. Leighton Meester broke from filming Gossip Girl to hit the carpet in Louis Vuitton, while other ladies like Julianne Moore, Cindy Crawford, and Elizabeth Hurley wore Roberto Cavalli. Even Leonardo DiCaprio's current squeeze, Erin Heatherton, stepped out in Cavalli. It was Heidi Klum's first public event post-split from husband Seal, and she too wore Cavalli.The guests were treated to dinner, an auction, and performances from Theophilus London and Janelle Monáe.

There were plenty more gorgeous ensembles to check out. Click through to see Alexa Chung, Padma Lakshmi, and Stanley Tucci with fiancé Felicity Blunt. Twilight's star-crossed lovers Edward and Bella (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) tie the knot in this installment, but their idyllic honeymoon is interrupted when they discover that vampires can, in fact, impregnate humans. Bella is willing to do anything to protect the life of her baby, Edward will do anything to save Bella, and Jacob tries to keep his wolfpack at bay. The movie goes quickly from cheesily romantic to surprisingly graphic, but the film is very loyal to the book. DVD extras include a six-part making-of documentary, a wedding video, a Jacob featurette, and a commentary track with the director.

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

Harold and Kumar (John Cho and Kal Penn) reunite for this holiday-themed sequel, the third part in their drug-fueled comedy series. This time, the guys have grown apart (Harold is now a husband in the suburbs while Kumar is a slacker in the city), but Christmas Eve hijinks force them to work together and grow close again. The boys - and Neil Patrick Harris - are as raunchy as ever, but this installment is as funny as the original, and festive to boot. DVD extras include deleted scenes.

Photography Lessons Learned From Eve Arnold

American photojournalist Eve Arnold passed away last week at the age of 99. A Philadelphia native, Arnold spent her life traveling, bringing back images from remote and dangerous parts of the world for Life magazine (among others), which earned her the title of the first woman to join famed Magnum Photos agency in 1955. Arnold didn't want to be known as a "woman photographer" though, and just as well, she may be most renowned for building quite the rapport with her subjects. She told BBC in a 2002 interview that "if you're careful with people and if you respect their privacy, they will offer part of themselves that you can use." It's this attitude that helped her capture some of the most intimate images of Marilyn Monroe to date, which she compiled into a book dedicated to the actress.

Found It! Jennifer Aniston's Artwork in Bounty Hunter

One of CasaSugar's Facebook fans, Kim, wrote us earlier this month determined to find out the artist who created the print with the blue-tinted trees in Jennifer Aniston's apartment in Bounty Hunter. I didn't know offhand at all who the artist is, but I did some research to find the film's production designer, Jane Musky, and I reached out to her agent in search of the source. Yesterday, I got a phone call from Virginia-based sculptor, painter, and printmaker Eve Stockton, saying the film's set designer, Ellen Christiansen, had given her my contact information. What do you know? Eve is the artist!

The print featured is actually a blue woodcut called "Evolutionary Landscape." In the film, the print is 3'x3', but it was originally editioned as a 3'x6' print.

There are also two other large woodcuts of Eve's featured in the same apartment in the film, which are from her ongoing "Blooms" series. One of Eve's "Bloom" woodcuts will also be used in the upcoming movie Something Borrowed, and a smaller version of "Bloom" is being used in the Laura Linney series The Big C on Showtime.If you're interested in purchasing some of Eve's sprightly botanical artwork for your own home, you can contact her here. Jason and Olivia Share a Cozy Lunch Following Their Romantic Candlelit Weekend

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde held hands leaving lunch at Little Dom's restaurant in LA yesterday. Since stepping out as a couple in early December they seem to be splitting their time between Jason's home base in NYC and Olivia's West Coast pad. Jason and Olivia celebrated New Year's Eve together in the Big Apple and just returned from a weekend getaway to Palm Springs. Things got extra cozy for Jason and Olivia on Saturday night when strong winds knocked out the electricity at their luxury hotel. Guests were supplied with flashlights and candles to move around the property during the blackout. According to sources at the resort Jason and Olivia remained in high spirits throughout the storm, and didn't seem bothered by the power outage.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux held hands yesterday when they walked out of a movie theater in LA. Both Jen and Justin have been laying low on the West Coast for a few weeks, ever since they wrapped up a holiday vacation in Colorado. New Year's Eve usually calls Jennifer - and her bikini - down to Cabo, but she decided to switch things up and vacation in a colder climate to see in 2012. Jen and Justin have even been selective about their socializing, and have been photographed rarely so far this year. They did, though, step out for a screening of HBO's Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory with Orlando Bloom recently. The downtime should be good for Jen and Justin before they start a press tour for their next movie. Wanderlust, which is directed by David Wain and stars Justin and Jen, comes out on Feb 24.

Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michele Lock Lips For New Year's Eve

The NYC set of New Year's Eve got another dose of star power when Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michele showed up to shoot yesterday. They were in front of the cameras for a kissing scene after Halle Berry, Katherine Heigl, a pregnant Alyssa Milano, and Ryan Seacrest all got into character for the film. The movie is Lea's very first, and she's juggling her big-screen duties with her work on Glee. She even made sure to record last night's episode of her show since she wasn't able to watch it live. Ashton, who was part of the ensemble cast of Valentine's Day, headed to the Big Apple following a promotional trip to Austin for SXSW.
