By now, we've seen menswear vests galore. While I participate in the craze, I like to switch it up at times. Reginads knows what I'm talking about. She's looking gorgeously exotica in her cropped vest with tassels. The long white tee provides a clean palette for the busy print.

Handbag Designer Spotlight: Bird

If the name Liz Carey sounds familiar to you, it's probably because you've seen the model/actress walking the runways of Alexander McQueen or Versace. Or maybe you caught a glimpse of her in the movies Spanglish or The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Now fast-forward. Liz has taken a new role - handbag designer - and it looks like she's found her niche.

Her handbag collection, dubbed Bird, is all about the exotic. Taking pieces from her worldly travels, the budding designer has created a line filled with personality and culture. From ostrich to snakeskin to Guatemalan wedding shirts, Liz's rich-hippie aesthetic had me - and Lake Bell, and Rachel Bilson - at hello. Oh yeah, and if you're wondering why Liz named her collection Bird, it's because the word also means "girl" in British slang.

Found! Victory Ford's Colorful Bangle on Lipstick Jungle

I don't really look to Lipstick Jungle for outfit inspirations, but I was mesmerized by Lindsay Price's character Victory Ford's exotic, gold plated bangle she wore on the pilot episode. The Dholak Bangle by Rosena Sammi ($500), is inspired by the shape of the dholak, a North Indian hand drum. This, for me, is as gorgeous as jewelry gets. Spring's exotica trend just got a lot more exciting.

If you're not off venturing to exotica or taking risks with avant-garde and the funky bunch, maybe you'd rather stay home and be laid-back. Spring has a diverse group of trends for us to eat up and those seeking solstice can feast their eyes here. Light fabrics and relaxed silhouettes were elegant on the Spring runways - such was the case at Emporio Armani (pictured) where girls looked beyond cool. Laid-back and super stylish? Yeah baby.
