Today's 'It' girl Sienna Miller plays the original 'It' girl Edie Sedgwick in the movie Factory Girl hitting theaters today. After getting the inside scoop from the film's costume designer John Dunn, I learned that Sienna's wardrobe was, not surprisingly, mostly vintage - except a pair of killer Jimmy Choo boots. As you can see, all these wardrobe pieces are still stylish as ever.

In honor of the much-anticipated release of Factory Girl, with Sienna Miller, if not solely for its movie wardrobe, here is a happening handbag named after the film's heroine. The movie is based on the life of Andy Warhol muse and original 'It' girl Edie Sedgwick - the blazing superstar who came to define both the glamour and the tragedy of our celebrity-obsessed culture. The Edie Large Tote is $675, the medium tote is $575, and it comes in more colors.

A 1965 fashion spread in Life magazine dubbed her "the girl with the black tights," and Edie Sedgwick wore them with everything, from dressy shift dresses to long t-shirts. Remember that gorgeous sequined Balenciaga babydoll dress Sienna Miller wore to the premiere of Factory Girl? Well, during my usual morning visit to PopSugar today, I caught Katie Holmes wearing the same dress seven months later! This is a tough call because both ladies are wearing black opaque tights and patent pumps — almost identical.
