On Our Radar: "The Fashionista Diaries" Reality Show
Reality TV and fashion lovers, get ready to get glued to the tube, as there's a new show in the works that will chronicle the lives of six fashion assistants given the not-so-glamorous task of putting together the fashion show and after party for Charlotte Ronson during last Fall's New York Fashion Week in September. The one-hour weekly show will air on Soapnet in July.
"The Fashionista Diaries" will follow entry-level employees at Flirt Cosmetics, Seventh House PR and Jane Magazine while they do everything and anything from buying coffee to transporting clothing all around NYC.
Fab Face: Iekeliene Stange
One of the most interesting faces trotting down the fall runways was Dutch newcomer Iekeliene Stange. Note: her last name is Stange, not Strange, though she does look it with her insane cheekbones, pale complexion, and pointed nose. The 21-year-old, who also happens to have a gap-toothed smile, was a designer favorite this fall appearing in numerous shows including Chloe, Chanel, and Emanuel Ungaro.
Come Fab Finding With Me: What to Wear to Fashion Week
Tomorrow marks the official start of New York Fashion Week, which makes me wonder: What would you guys wear if you got to attend one of the week's runway shows? After all, no matter how cute those Target Paul & Joe clothes are, it's hard to get away with wearing budget finds when you're surrounded by haute couture. San Francisco Fashion Week
San Francisco Fashion Week returns to the City by the Bay, August 23rd - 27th, for the third annual event since 2004. The week-long series of parties, workshops and fashion shows will showcase up to twenty of the top emerging and established fashion designers from the Bay Area.
