Fab Flash: Fourth Time's a Charm For Eve's Fetish

Rapper-actress Eve is hopeful the fourth time will be the charm with her fashion line, Fetish. After a rocky start in 2003, with production problems and changing business partners, Eve Jeffers hired seasoned design director Arnold Williams to give Fetish a boost.

“Arnold is so good. His attention to detail is amazing, he is teaching me so much, and he brings this fresh energy to Fetish,” said Eve.

FabSugar Exclusive: Alexis Bittar Is Gossip Girl's Favorite Accessory Designer

We caught up with Alexis Bittar at his Neiman Marcus trunk show recently. He's super dreamy, as you can tell from his photo (center). And so friendly, it was comfortable, like we'd met before. Read what he had to say about his biggest fans - Fab fave Cameron Diaz and the Gossip Girl stylists - as well as how he got his start.

What sparked your interest in jewelry?

I sold antique jewelry on the street [at the 26th Street flea market in Manhattan] for 15 years. I started working with Lucite, I just pounded it, started carving it. I actually don’t know how I put it all together in my brain, but I liked that you could sculpt it. It’s pretty cheap - in the beginning I had no money. It seemed like an experimental medium. And I like working with mediums that aren’t typical. When I first saw it, I loved it and I still love it. Guys like it, too; they’re into the science of it, they’re trying to figure it out. It took a long time - the beginning was a bit difficult, then certain key people used it, and it slowly took off. When the millennium happened there was thing of perceiving everything differently and it became the new.

The fashion world has yet to tire of the cool black leather jacket. See Kova & T founder and new Pop magazine editor Dasha Zhukova, next to Mr. Louboutin himself. At the Fetish by Christian Louboutin and David Lynch Exhibition in the Fabcon's home country of Russia, the sexy brunette worked a buttery leather jacket and a confectionery Rodarte frock. She gained extra style mileage with a graphic black and white clutch and silver Louboutin stilettos. No-fuss hair and pouty pink lips were perfect beauty accompaniments. The lilac and white wrapped and cut-out Rodarte dress is stunning in itself, but this stylemaster made it her own.

Shoe Designer Spotlight: Omelle

One day, a sophisticate and an art genius combined their shoe fetish and created Omelle. The rest, you can say, is history. I've seen a lot of unique footwear in my day, but designers Cherise Angelle and Nicole LaFave have created something truly amazing. Look closely and you can see where Cherise's sleek style melds with Nicole's hip nuances. Fab Ad: Brian Atwood Spring '09

High heels, fine models, and lots of skin. Is it just me, or is it hot in here? For his Spring '09 ad campaign, Brian Atwood took the sexy route and showed us how wearing the perfect pair of shoes can make any guy swoon. Shot by Tony Duran, the ad depicts Jon Kortajarena lusting over Rene Russo (random)'s sexy array of footwear. Jon is so close to Russo's feet, he's practically making out with Atwood's racy collection of python sandals and gold heel stilettos. Talk about having a foot fetish! What do you think about the hotness?

Fab Ad: Tom Ford Eyewear Fall '08

Tom Ford has a mouth fetish. After his Spring ads were banned in Italy, why is Liliana Dominguez (love her) gnashing on a fat piece of chicken in the Fall '08 eyewear campaign? Maybe she was hungry. A model eating in an ad? Groundbreaking indeed. Also, does anyone else see a nod to Amy Winehouse? I'm sure photog Solve Sundsbo and Ford intended that. It's a bit hard to focus on the specs at hand, but it is a finger lickin' good ad, no?

A Fabby Halloween: Barbarella

Apparently, Barbarella was the star of many male fantasies back in the day. It's no wonder why - just look at the Queen of the Galaxy. Jane Fonda wowed audiences in the 1968 erotic science fiction Barbarella. In retrospect, the rinky dink special effects wowed me upon first viewing, as did Barbarella. With her teased blonde mane and Paco Rabanne designed wardrobe she embarked on wild intergalactic adventures, and love affairs, in style. Part fetish-wear, part space age chic, every girl should play the Queen of the Galaxy in her lifetime.

Special tip: when I was Barbarella I raided my local fabric store for metallic and sparkly fabrics. I sort of twisted and pinned them wherever they worked (and to give me coverage in sensitive areas). And don't forget about fun with plastic!

Summer is here! Yay! Summer is my favorite season. I know it's a lot of other people's favorite season too but what can I say...I'm a bona fide California girl. I love the heat, the sea water and little dresses; not to mention a cool Corona on a hot day and BBQs! I could go on, but instead I'll just show you some fabworthy June picks. You'll notice three of them are bottoms - I guess it's time I restock that department. Enjoy!

I am a total wannabe surfer girl and these Hurley boardshorts, $36, are bitchin'. They are a perfect mix of femme, with the lace print, and sport, with their water-ready material and shape. Which color do you like best?!
I need new white jeans! These Radcliffe Denim EC2 Super Skinny Ankle Skimmer Jeans, $185, are too cute with the zipper bottom.
DKNY Jeans Denim Pencil Skirt, on sale for $38 (originally $69). I have been seeking a denim pencil skirt for so long, and though this one has a trendy high waist, at that price when the trend is over I won't regret it!
There's nothing like a new punchy pool-side tote and this Lacoste 'Summer Shop' Bag, $100, is the perfect size and I adore the vibrant emerald green.
I've got this wraparound sandals fetish and I just think these MICHAEL Michael Kors Beachside Wrap Wedges, $143, are so bad ass. I admit I've already purchased them and they are very comfy and sexy!
