Freaky or Fabulous? Colorful Cigarettes

This Hollywood Dreams editorial in April's Flair magazine makes me want to pack up and head South to where the sun do shine. It doesn't hurt that it features one of the naturally sexiest models out there, Flavia Oliveira. I'm not endorsing smoking (I promise, Fit!), but doesn't she look way cool with those Nat Sherman rainbow cigarettes? I suppose it would have been fine to use regular white smokes, but the fact that they're pink, green, and super skinny makes it more fashiony. I know you once said smoking in editorials is not fashionable, but are colorful cigarettes freaky or fabulous?

Models Shake It For a Polaroid Picture

Something about viewing go-see Polaroids of models seems invasive, but cool. It's almost like getting a sneak peek of your favorite models in the comfort of their own home, without tons of makeup, without all the serious posing. For those who aren't familiar with modeling jargon, a go-see is an appointment arranged by the model or her agency as an opportunity to interview with clients. Models are asked to keep their face bare and their clothes simple and form-fitting. That's because designers and magazine editors want to see the real girl, sans all the fluff. Here are a bunch of go-see Polaroids that cast a new light on some of your favorite models, including Gemma Ward (left), Erin Wasson, and Daria Werbowy.

Fab Faces of New York Fashion Week

I have always been drawn to exotic models (European mix white girl right here). However, my favorite model of all time is Canadian, with a bit of Italian, Linda Evangelista, but really, she's the best. With today's girls, not only is there not enough diversity but obscure looking blondes rule the runway. Whatever the reason may be, my eye goes to the exotic, interesting and girls who have personality. If I was a model right now, I'd want the looks of Brazilian born Bruna Tenorio (left at Oscar de la Renta). She looks like an Egyptian princess with her strong nose, beautiful eyes and long, shiny mane. With Chinese, Japanese and Brazilian blood, it's no wonder she turned out so unique. To prevent me from doing a slideshow of only Bruna - I was this close - here are some other Fab Faces that made me swoon at New York Fashion Week.
