Paying nearly a whole paycheck for a pair of boots may seem blasphemous to some. But what if I told you paying $825 for Gryson's Fold Down Boot will get you more than what you bargained for?

Unlike all boots out there, this one acts as four pairs. It can be worn at the knee, ankle, calf or scrunched - simply fold the boot up or down to your desired height. Colors include cerise (pictured), mushroom, deep brown, and black. A four-in-one boot is so much more fun (and worth the money) than one!

Gush, double gush. I can't get enough of Isabel Marant's Fall '09 show. Each and every single look, down to the graduated cone footwear, is amazing. Speaking of footwear, how cool are the stud buckle boots Lily Donaldson is wearing? They're slightly trendy, yes, but subtle enough to wear for a while. Unfortunately, like every other Marant piece, they're out of my price range. Luckily, Jeffrey Campbell has come out with an identical pair without the killer price tag.

This Jeffrey Campbell Black Suede Boot ($165) is as close as any boot is going to get to the Isabel Marant version. It has the right studs, the buckle, the fold over detail, and a similar heel shape. Now all you need are Marant-inspired clothes and you're perfect.

Marc Jacobs went back to the future for Fall. His color shock collection can best be described as the future . . . in the '80s. You follow? Aside from the news items leading up to show - the downsizing in invites and just saying no to celebrities - the show went down as so . . .

Pepto pink ponchos, jagged edges, shiny jewel tone pencil skirts, comical brocades, cutesie florals, suede thigh high boots, and enough folds, pleats, and oversized shoulders to fill a hot air balloon. Oh, and each model had her own unique beauty look. They looked like characters from a comic book, at times over-the-top, every time entertaining. When you dissect, there are some wearable pieces, but together they're severe. Pants were tapered and pleated, tops were cut out and couture-like, and dresses were stand alone statements. Like me with the '80s, it's a love/hate relationship.

Behold the Radcliffe NW1 Skinny Stretch Jeans in Dark Denim deemed the "best fitting jeans in the world." I found these just when I had completed my new jean collection of long jeans to wear with heels and shorter ones to wear with flats or tuck into boots. Phooey! Designed in London under the supervision of a Saville Row tailor, Radcliffe jeans have two innovative features: 1) A removable, elasticized satin stirrup which slides under your foot to pull your jeans down when wearing boots; and 2) Heels-to-flats detailing - a combo of buttons, cufflinks and buttonholes - that allows you to fold the jeans up to a shorter length to wear with flats. There is a discreet signature right rear pocket, which boasts an inverted, satin-lined pleat. Available in dark denim and black these genius jeans are $195 and sold here.
