Warning shoeaholics: V Magazine's recent Foot Fetish story features Fall's most exciting shoes in a different light, to say the least. As you can see, the Diors (left) and Calvins (right) are not alone: they are intertwined with naked bodies! It actually looks quite painful, but pain is beauty, right? I admit, some of the contortions are too strange for words and NSFW (not suitable for work), but overall this is just brilliant. Now if only we could take such refuge in our most glamorous footwear in real life! The world would definitely be a more interesting place.

Fab Ad: Brian Atwood Spring '09

High heels, fine models, and lots of skin. Is it just me, or is it hot in here? For his Spring '09 ad campaign, Brian Atwood took the sexy route and showed us how wearing the perfect pair of shoes can make any guy swoon. Shot by Tony Duran, the ad depicts Jon Kortajarena lusting over Rene Russo (random)'s sexy array of footwear. Jon is so close to Russo's feet, he's practically making out with Atwood's racy collection of python sandals and gold heel stilettos. Talk about having a foot fetish! I have scars on my feet. I'm sure we all have some scars on our feet. Our feet are our tools for experiencing life, really. They take us through our day-to-day and beyond. They are important, they are precious. We should take good care of them! So the next time you're not sure if you can afford a pedicure, consider this your pep talk.

Moleskin, $5, is the best! The reason it rocks is because it is soft and nude colored and has adhesive on the other side. You can cut it to the size you need to protect either the back of your heel, side of your foot or wherever. You can also stick it to the sole of the shoe to prevent slippage. Overall, it's super handy and better than a band aid to prevent stingy blisters!
