Full skirts are making a presence in fashionable circles, so I decided to go on a hunt to find you Fab ladies a skirt that you can wear through Fall. This Vintage 70's African Tribal Wrap, waist 25-37", caught my eye, not only because of its unique design, but also because it doubles as a dress. The rich colors are perfect for your autumnal wardrobe. As a skirt, I'd wear it with an olive or black turtleneck; as a dress, I'd do opaque tights and a cropped jacket. Trend Alert: Full Skirts

You don't need to be full of yourself to pull off a full skirt. Au contraire my fine females. For those who have been hynotized by the voluminous trend, here's a fun way to practice. Allow me to offer you some tips to work the the full skirt:

Make sure you seek a full skirt that is the right waist for your shape. To show off a narrow middle, pick one that sits high on the hips, above the navel. To hide a tummy, have it rest below the navel.
Strike a balance; with volume on bottom, go slim on top. Tuck in your blouse or opt for a slim-cut shirt or jacket.
This look is super-feminine so try to toughen it up with a chunky cuff or a fly belt,
as not to be too goodie goodie.

Who Wore It Better? Azzedine Alaia Gray Full-Skirt Dress

Usually when two celebrities wear the same dress, they personalize it, say, with varying footwear. Such is not the case for Zoe Saldana and Doutzen Kroes. Both recently wore their Azzedine Alaia's gray full-skirt dress with Alaia's lace-up shoe boots - Zoe at the Star Trek premiere in London and Doutzen at the Cannes Film Festival. They also opted for long earrings, but Zoe chose a chunkier bracelet. Both look outstanding, but who wore it better?

2010 Paris Fashion Week: Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant - a Fab obsession - opted for more detail, more color, and more leg for Spring. Per usual, I adore everything, minus the camouflage boots. Marant delivered an eclectic chic mix of frilly skirts and dresses, sumptuous tweed, cool prints, girlie ruffles, city shorts, hot hot pink, and sweet turquoise. Railroad denim is redone: teeny short shorts, patchwork miniskirts, and cutoff jeans. Khaki jackets and vests are far from preppy in silky fabrics and utilitarian styles.Pants are either laid-back loose or sexy tight, shown in silky black, Carmen Kass multicolored stripes, hot pink, and cool gray; this pictured pair of laced up black pants are a new classic, totally unique. Now that we've differentiated between Winter and Summer plaid, let's dig in. This Vintage Plaid Full-Skirted Dress, size xs/s, has fun written all over it. I love the color palette, as well as the girlie skirt. Now imagine how much cuter it would be paired with a cool tan belt and gold baubles. In a few months, throw on black leggings for Fall/Winter wearability.

Cruise '10 Trend: Clean, Lean Trousers

With Cruise '10 in full effect, let's stop and evaluate the latest. Frocks and skirts dominated, but what really caught my eye were clean, lean trousers - quite the opposite of crazy harem pants. Instead, trousers ranged from cropped and loose-fitting to tight and body-con. All polished, all pretty. Each style had its own appeal; I can see myself rockin' these silky Roksanda Ilincic trousers to a rooftop party and these Rebecca Taylor pants for a lazy bike ride.
