Let's get ready to rumble . . . It's a battle between the two great Kates. Kate Bosworth wore Fendi's fur coat at the Fendi fashion show at the Great Wall of China back in October. Kate Moss got her hands on the same coat and wore it to the Led Zeppelin concert in London yesterday. Side note: I am so incredibly jealous she got to go, I love Led Zeppelin. Both ladies look avant-garde, but I'm leaning towards Kate B. because she looks more polished. Who do you think wore it better?

Kate Hudson's Winter White Fur: Love It or Hate It?

A stark white fur coat is quite a way to make a statement when it's nippy. Kate Hudson made a bold appearance in her furry outerwear at Dolce & Gabbana's Pre-Fall 2008 Collection event. I've always thought that Kate wears cold-weather clothing really well, but this is taking it to a highly sophisticated, and dramatic, level. I heart, do you?

At the Supper Club New York launch party last night, Spanish-born model Eugenia Silva looked smashing and effortlessly high fashion. You may recognize her from Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera fragrance ads, Victoria's Secret catalogs, as well as from catwalks all over the world. But back to the matter at hand. Her fur jacket is exquisite to say the least, and I admire how she kept the rest of her outfit subdued. She's definitely one to keep on our fashion radar.

Queen Elizabeth Looks Like a Fairy-Tale Monarch at Parliament's Opening

Kate Middleton is a modern royal, most recently making an appearance last night at a black tie gala with a sky-high and surprisingly sexy slit in her dress. But today in full regalia, Queen Elizabeth II took royal watchers back in time during the state opening of parliament. Each year the queen marks the start of a new parliamentary session in the UK dressed in a regal fur coat and an imposing crown, technically called the State Diadem. In fact the crown, which has 1333 diamonds, rides to parliament in its own carriage, with the Cap of Maintenance and Sword of State. With all the trappings, Queen Elizabeth laid out the reforms coming up this year. After listing economic and other legislative priorities, the queen referenced plans that would allow the potential first-born daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton to rule as queen one day. She said, "My government will continue to work with the 15 other Commonwealth realms to take forward reform of the rules governing succession to the crown." See photos of the event.

While it's true that a variety of illnesses can cause these symptoms, if you see several of them at the same time, now is a good time to take your pet to the vet to get checked for a clean bill of health!

Happy Earth Day! 5 TV Characters Who Care About the Planet

Today is Earth Day, when we're supposed to try extra hard to do the things we should be doing all year long to save the planet. To that end, I'll be recycling, composting, using public transportation - and thinking about my favorite earth-conscious TV characters!

Phoebe Buffay, Friends: She may be a little wishy-washy on her rules (remember when she had to eat meat during her pregnancy? Or couldn't stop wearing that fur coat?), but Phoebe is an animal lover through and through. Case in point: she dumps guest star Michael Rappaport when he shoots a bird, even though they just decided to move in together. Plus, she's a friend to smelly cats everywhere.
Jessie Spano, Saved by the Bell: Women's rights may have been Jessie's biggest cause, but she was willing to protest just about anything. She and Kelly even handcuffed themselves to a fake oil derrick to boycott the drilling at Bayside High. I think everyone learned a lesson when Zack couldn't save Becky the duck and all the other animals.

For Opening Ceremony's Fall 2012 collection, designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim created a cozy collection inspired by the natural wonders of Patagonia. With a focus on textures and prints inspired by the great outdoors, the duo created a sporty luxe collection comprised of printed trousers, puffer coats, lace-inset sweatshirts, and body-con fleece dresses. Tempering the casual aesthetic were refined touches via leather trim, Mongolian fur, and metallic finishes. Meanwhile, the brand's accessory offerings ranged from round red sunglasses to chunky lace-up boots and chic printed loafers. The collection is definitely a slightly more mature take compared to their past collections, but nonetheless true to Humberto and Carol's whimsical cool style. Something about Fab reader Greaseandglamour's sophisticated ensemble reminded us of Upper East Side-meets-Gossip Girl luxe and to (double) top it off, we love how she made it distinctly her own. First, she paired a collared blouse with slouchy Maison Martin Margiela sweatpants. Then, she put not one, but two coats - a slick trench and a white fur jacket - on to keep the outfit layered and Winter-to-Spring ready.
