Paris Fashion Week is the creme de la creme of all fashion events. New York had its highlights; London wowed me with its revived schedule; and Milan is always beautiful, but Paris? Undeniably thrilling.

The opposing force of Luxotica is Geo Max. For the rare days I'm not feeling like an island girl and want to be serious, graphic prints, stripes, 3-D shapes, and polka dots will modernize my look. Most of these equations came in black and white, with the occasional blue, but one of my favorite Spring collections — Dries Van Noten — delivered it in marigold.

How many LBDs do you own? And I bet they're all pretty different, right? Some are casual, some are fancy, some modern, some classic.

Seven New York is many things. It's an avant-garde clothing and accessories boutique, an online retailer, a special events and production company and a media relations firm. If you can't visit the shop on Mercer Street in NYC, check out its virtual store and get goods from progressive designers such as Gareth Pugh, Jeremy Scott, Three As Four, Preen, House of Holland and more.

Wowsers! Gareth Pugh is a young designer who just showed his Fall 2007 collection in London and was profiled in Vogue this month; this look really makes me wonder why. While it is important for fashion to have its misfits and hooligans, hello John Galliano?, it's sometimes hard to pinpoint who the real tastemakers are.
