Is it just me or are the stylish mommies out and about? Check out Michelle Williams and her little one Matilda. The adorable duo were spotted taking a leisurely stroll on the streets of Brooklyn. Motherhood certainly hasn't affected Michelle's casually cool style. The actress is nonchalant in her black and white gingham shirt and dark denim shorts. Classic white kicks are the perfect choice for all that walking, and of course, her Ray-Ban Wayfarers top off the look. Simple, chic, and cute. On another note, that green drink looks yummy!

If you're a nature lover, check out the whimsical designs of Jennifer Sarkilahti, dubbed Odette New York. Taking inspiration from the flora and fauna around her, Jennifer creates a unique line of necklaces and earrings. In addition to the svelte snake are an abundance of bunnies, monkeys, birds, and other cute creatures made from sterling silver and solid gold.

You may not realize this, but making quality jewels is a lot of work. Jennifer's designs are all made from an intricate process requiring her to hand sketch everything, create a wax mold from the sketch, cast the metals, and polish the final pieces. Sounds like a lot of work, but well worth it!

Fab Finding Follow Up: The Roof Is On Fire!

I raged at a rooftop soiree last weekend and wanted to look my absolute best. It was at a snazzy penthouse so I thought somewhere along the lines of sleek and sexy resortwear.

I started you off with this dazzling Philippe Audibert Marilyn Bracelet ($550) because it was party perfect.

It was love at first sight when I found this CC Skye Braided Chain Leather Necklace ($200). I'm digging the Medusa-like braid and the color combo creates a wonderful contrast. It may look a little bulky at first, but imagine it with a flowy, peach dress and black Givenchy lace-ups. Think ballerina meets rocker babe.

The Perfect Everyday Gold Necklace

I have always had a love/hate relationship with gold. For the past several years, I thought it was terribly uncool and more something that my mom and grandmother would wear, but now gold is hot hot hot and I am all over it. The great thing is that I now realize that gold is truly timeless. Not too long ago we showed some bold gold jewelry and now I'd like to showcase the other end of the spectrum: perfect everyday gold necklaces. These are sweet, functional necklaces that can be worn solo or layered with other favorite pieces. They aren't too long or large, they are just perfect. Christine Mighion is taking us to a whole new level with her eco-friendly jewelry line. “The jewelry industry relies heavily upon mining companies to generate raw materials for their products. Unfortunately, the mining process creates significant waste and contaminants, causing harm to the land and its inhabitants,” says Mighion. With that said, she's taken it upon herself to create a beautiful and sustainable collection of fine jewels. Every piece from her line is handmade using recycled gold and conflict-free precious and semi-precious stones - awesome.

Her premier collection, dubbed called Lustre, was inspired by “simplicity in form, timeless design and the dance of light.” I love the combination of colorful sapphires, aquamarines, chocolate diamonds, and garnets. In fact, I can see some of her pieces as unique engagement rings.

Chopard Dazzles the Actresses of Nine

What's more exciting than the new star-studded movie Nine is the news that the women are going to be blinged out by Chopard. The Swiss fine jewelry company teamed up with costume designer Colleen Atwood to create dazzling pieces for a few of the characters.

Kate Hudson wears a white gold ring with a golden pearl and diamonds (left); Nicole Kidman rocks oval-cut and Asscher diamond chandelier earrings and a cuff with 97 carats of diamonds; and Marion Cotillard sports a bracelet with 24 carats of heart-cut diamonds and a choker with 20 carats of emerald-cut diamonds. Sophia Loren and Judi Dench's characters also wore some Chopard. I can't wait to see them sparkle on the big screen!

Ready-to-Wear Designers Delve Into Jewelry

It's raining baubles: Thakoon, Alice + Olivia, and Milly have announced expansions into jewelry.

Thakoon Panichgul has been swooped up by Japanese fine jewelry brand, Tasaki, to serve as its creative director. “My goal is to approach jewelry design in the same manner that I approach clothing: always move forward but respect the past,” said Panichgul.

Alice + Olivia received some help from jewelry extraordinaire, Karen Erickson, to design a limited-edition jewelry collection set to debut in Spring. The line, ranging from $278 to $393, is funky and modern - check out this rad leather floral bangle.

Milly designer, Michelle Smith, took inspiration from her Spring line to create Lucite necklaces, gold-plated bracelets, and colorful enamel cuffs. “From the time I was a girl, I was always into vintage jewelry. It is a passion of mine, so I thought it would be a great addition to the Milly collection,” said Smith. Her collection retails from $75 to $325, and will also launch in Spring. Bring on the bling!
