On Golden Globes night, the evening didn't end when the awards were given out. Au contraire, many of our favorite celebs got dolled up to paint the town red at the various Hollywood afterparties. Does FabSugar know how to call it or what? Two weeks ago we spotted a runway style for Spring we called Loose Waves & Center Parts that we knew was going to be red carpet hot! Since so many stars were already sporting this beautiful and breezy style we figured this is one hairdo that is here to stay.

Just look at all of the ladies who opted for loose waves and center parts at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards. There was Evangeline Lilly, Jennifer Hudson, Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Garner, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Salma Hayek, Sarah Paulson and Gillian Anderson.

The Golden Globes Red Carpet: Heidi's Diamond Locket

Check out the set of diamonds on Heidi! Heidi Klum looks like a glowing Grecian Goddess, just six weeks after the birth of her third baby, Johan. She arrived at the Golden Globes wearing a gorgeous Givenchy gown, Givenchy gloves and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Even decked out in all of these high end designers, her own necklace design was the real show stopper. Her stunning 950 diamond and platinum choker featured a heart-shaped detachable locket made from 5.74 carats of diamonds. The choker also contained 208 carats of diamonds and totalled an astonishing combined carat weight of 213.74.

This necklace is part of the Heidi Klum Collection for Mouawad specifically designed for the 2007 Golden Globe Awards Show and is said to cost a whopping one million dollars. Looks like Heidi could be the next jeweler to the stars. Look out Lorraine Schwartz!

The One Shoulder Dress: Love It or Hate It?

Not many ladies were sporting this look on the red carpet at the Golden Globes this year. Most women opted instead for more of the Grecian or strapless looks, but Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Sheryl Crow all stood out from the crowd in their one shoulder gowns. I am not sure how I feel about this look. What do you guys think?

The Golden Globes Red Carpet: The Ballet Bun

Stars like Chloe Sevigny, Svetlana Metinka, and Jada Pinkett Smith chose a classic and subdued ballet bun hairstyle for the Golden Globes last night. This simple hair look shows off their flawless makeup, gorgeous jewelry and fabulous dresses.

Not only will this look elongate your face and neck, but it will also keep you feeling neat and fuss free throughout the affair. It gives you one less thing to have to worry about. Hairstylist Campbell McAuley was responsible for creating the effortless look on Chloe Sevigny last night.

Start off by brushing your hair so that it is smooth and tangle-free and add a drop of Fekkai Glossing Cream, $19.50, to add shine to your hair.
Next, pull your hair back neatly into a ponytail at the back of the head or higher and secure it with a hair elastic. If you want a middle part, now is the time to determine that and brush hair back around the part. Also keep in mind where you would like the bun to be placed on your head. Wherever you make your pony, your bun will go.
Twist your ponytail as you wrap it around your hair elastic so that you make a coiled circular bun. Next, apply pins to keep the wrap in place. You will want to use about 12 pins per bun. Then, rub a little bit of Fekkai Technician Color-Protecting Glaze, $20, in between your fingers and gently apply it to your hair. This acts as a light gel and will hold your hair in place.
To finish, mist hair lightly with a gentle hold hairspray to eliminate any wisps. I like, Fekkai Sheer Hold Hair Spray, $23.

The Golden Globes Red Carpet: Black Magic

While some of the starlets last night were feeling nice in white, some were clearly feeling naughty in black. A red carpet classic - hello? "black tie" - black is always appropriate for star studded events. But, the key is to keep it fresh with interesting silhouettes, ala Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen, and killer hair and makeup, as shown by Penelope Cruz in her Chanel couture. Alas, here were last night's red carpet black magic moments.

The Golden Globes Red Carpet: Vivid Hues

While white dominated the red carpet last night, we were jolted by some bright, vivid hued gowns. I thought the red gowns this year were quite gorgeous, as well as the emerald green dresses worn by Renee Zellweger and Ugly Betty's Becki Newton. And Jada Pinkett Smith in a coral tiered column gown next to a bright red Mary J. Blige was a breath of fresh air. I think these women really stood out thanks to their colorful choices.
