After celebrating her birthday in Vegas, Kristin Cavallari jetted to Miami to partake in a celebrity golf tournament. I don't know how good her putting skills are, but I do know that she looked anything but preppy in her Young, Fabulous & Broke cream ruffle dress. Seeing as it was hot, Kristin wore wedge ankle-wrap espadrilles and aviator sunnies. Props to the reality star for retaining her girlie style despite being on the green.

Fab Finding Follow Up: Golf Date with Daddio

When I was little my dad used to take me out to the driving range, and I loved it - so for old times' sake I am taking my dad out for a round on the ol' golf course.

When I was little my dad used to take me out to the driving range, and I loved it - setting up the tee, putting my neon pink ball on the tee, and attempting to connect my club with the ball (easier said than done when you're six). I thought for old times' sake I would take my dad out for a round on the ol' golf course. Help me pick out an outfit so I can look Fab, even when I look like a goofball (golfball?) while I swing and miss!

Designer Spotlight: Birdie

Birdie designer Kate Sutton has been a golfer since the age of 12, but it was only as of the launch of her golf-inspired clothing line in 2006 that she started to really look feminine, fashionable and sexy on and off the driving range. Thanks to Kate's frustration with masculine and unflattering women's golf gear, we can all get a little preppy even if we can't swing a golf club for the life of us.

Kate set out to shake up tradition and she did just that with her colorful polos, femme sweaters, short pleated skirts, fitted blazers, Bermuda shorts, modern golf caps (so much hotter than the one your dad sports), and bags.

So even if you don't know the difference between a birdie and a bogey (it's okay, neither do I), check out the Birdie collection, and who knows, maybe it'll inspire you to get yourself to a green.
