Clearly, we're all about fun over here at Sugar Inc. And that means embracing Halloween and its crazy splendor. We already saw what celebrities wore, but here are some real (and fabulously creative) people, pets, kids, babes, friends, and fams. I must point out my muse: Annabelle, who was a rugged rockclimber. It's pretty funny how yours truly, Christian Siriano, and Katie Sugar were all fashion-forward mermaids. Great minds! Enjoy!

Stars Go Sexy, Scary, and Silly For Halloween

Clearly the place to be on Saturday night was at Heidi and Seal's 10th annual Halloween bash in LA. Just like you and me, the stars went all out with their costumes. Despite being told by star stylists that sexy is out, Rihanna and Selita Ebanks looked va-va-voom. Heidi and Seal outdid themselves by dressing up as crows - freaky! And Agyness Deyn and Alexa Chung's duo getup made me crack up. Can you guess who this flashy mermaid - or shall I say merman - is? Click through to find out and to see more stars in their costumes.

Lucky Rabbit, Next Year the Costume Fairy Comes For You

I hate the saying, "All good things come to an end." Halloween is tomorrow - no, it's eternal (like vampires). Luckily, in the world of fashion, every day can be spent "dressing up." Now, it may not be as a Wild Thing, Sassy Sorceress, Cirque du Freak, or Anna Wintour, but it's your journey - you have my permission to dress to impress every day, even if it's extreme. Howl-o-Ween Heroes: Tompkins Square Dog Parade Pics

Claiming to be the world's largest ongoing dog Halloween party (of course, not proven but I've been there and it's big), Tompkins Square rolled out the dirt and leaf-strewn carpet for the 19th annual event in the East Village on Sunday. In this Halloween-inspired edition of French Revue de Modes, Ali Stephens shows off her fashionable crime-fighting abilities in a black and white editorial shot by Thierry Le Goues. With a hunky Batman by her side, Ali tackled the streets in an array of leopard print bodysuits, checkered frocks, avant-garde coats, and ornate LBDs. Of course, every sexy superhero needs thigh-high leather boots, statement belts, and slick leather gloves to complete the look. Oh, did you notice how Ali's big wavy hair and thick eyeliner is reminiscent of Lynda Carter in Wonder Woman? So rad. If only I could look this good on Halloween . . . Source

ECOWEEN: Cardboard Box Fire Truck Costume

As the saying goes, children enjoy the box more than the present, so take it a step further with some eco-friendly paint and a box cutter and turn their favorite toy into a fitting costume. This week lilsugar offers Five Costumes Made From a Cardboard Box.

Halloween costumes do not need to be store bought and be thrown out on November 1st. ECOWEEN offers us an opportunity to work next to our kids and teach them a bit more about what we can do to help save our planet.

If you have a lil firefighter on your hands, you can enhance their favorite red hat and fireman's coat with a custom fire truck made out of eco-friendly materials. A visit to your recycle bin, should garner you a strong cardboard box. Natural hemp paint, such as Livos Salis, can be used to decorate your box, and paper plates made from recycled material, such as Seventh Generation make some great wheels.

Medium-sized cardboard box
Red, black and yellow paint (the Livos Salis finger paints can be diluted with a little water to make them paintbrush accessible)

Halloween is right around the corner- got a costume in mind? If not, try these on for size. Blend in with every billboard around town and be a walking iPod advertisement. Or, go as the CA driver's license Britney never had. You can get nerdy as a good old-fashioned game of tetris or, even better, fleshify your Facebook (or Teamsugar) homepage. All are simple, cheap, and innovative enough to win you the "best costume" prize at any small party or lame office gathering, so there's no excuse to be yourself this Halloween. Unless, of course, your name is Spencer Pratt- then you're good to go, as is.
