Nicky Hilton's Spring 2008 collection for her line, Chick by Nicky Hilton, is retro with a modern twist. This apple print halter mini dress is one of the many cutesy pieces Paris' little sis designed. Although apples aren't one of my favorite fruits (I mean does an apple a day really keep the doctor away?), I would wear this frock because it's lighthearted, fun and super girly. I myself have been thinking about buying this Flounce tbd Gingham Halter Dress, $80 (originally $128). I adore the mock neck and the wide belt. It would look darling with some cuban heels - cha cha cha!

Our design-savvy readers are always inspiring us with shots of stylish scenes from their homes in our Lovely Little Vignettes group. In honor of Fashion Week, we decided to tap the shoulder of one of our favorite personal style bloggers, Nicole from Frankie Hearts Fashion, to take on our Lovely Little Vignettes fashion challenge! And, just as we expected, she absolutely killed it.

Nicole mixes bold, neon citrus with classic black-and-white graphics, and a touch of fire-engine red, for a combination that works equally well in an outfit and a room. Aside from crafting a mesmerizing color palette, she also experiments with mixing bohemian and more refined style influences in both shots. Rachel Comey Fall 2012

Rachel Comey showed us her sophisticated side for Fall '12, streamlining her usual quirk factor with a modern, refreshing twist. "Normally for Fall we dive into print and pattern and color," said Comey. "This time, I pulled all of that out and cleared the air." With that in mind, the designer showcased laser-cut cotton dresses and wool felt tops, digital-print knee-length skirts, pretty prints, and shiny boxy leather tops. Color pops included an oversized bright orange coat and dress and even a heart-print dress doused in hot pink. Comey's shoes, a cult favorite amongst many, included quirky-cool black-and-white cap-toe loafers, flatforms, and chunky ankle boots. To finish, Comey closed out the show with an array of cocktail-appropriate black dresses, ranging from a simple, slinky halter-neck LBD to a shimmering full-skirted version. As part of its annual ramp up to the Oscars - airing Feb. 26 - the Academy hosted a star-studded nominees luncheon yesterday. Translation: we were treated to a plethora of super stylish midday looks. Michelle Williams stepped out in a sweetly sequined Victoria by Victoria Beckham sheath, Viola Davis continued her red-carpet reign in a shockingly pink Juan Carlos Obando halter dress, and Rooney Mara kept it chic in a Thierry Mugler-meets-ASOS ensemble. Angelina, Michelle, Zoe, Viola, and More Bring Glamour to the SAG Awards Red Carpet

Award season saw another glamorous night with the Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA this evening. Stars from both the big and small screens brought even more great looks with plenty of ladies stepping out in neutrals. Presenter Zoe Saldana glowed in a white Givenchy Couture gown straight from the Paris runways while Bridesmaids' Kristen Wiig chose a Balenciaga halter. Viola Davis, who won best actress and best picture for The Help, got gorgeous in a strapless Marchesa and her winning costar Octavia Spencer donned Tadashi Shoji. The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies wore a custom beaded Calvin Klein Collection as she arrived on the arm of her husband Keith Lieberthal.

There were a few fun pops of color this evening, including a group that matched the carpet in red. Best actress nominee Michelle Williams looked sweet in a lace Valentino gown and Lanvin clutch and Kyra Sedgwick showed skin in a cutout Pucci that displayed her rib tattoo of her family's initials. Modern Family's Sofia Vergara continued her sexy streak in a strapless pink Marchesa dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, which were front and center when she took the stage with her costars to accept the best TV comedy ensemble statue. Emily Blunt got bright in a green Oscar de la Renta next to husband John Krasinski, and The Help's Jessica Chastain went with a bold blue Calvin Klein.

Angelina Jolie led the pack of black looks in a slinky Jenny Packham gown and Ashlee Simpson followed suit in a sequin number by the same designer when she arrived with boyfriend and Boardwalk Empire nominee Vincent Piazza. Emma Stone mixed things up with a short McQueen and 30 Rock's Tina Fey went strapless in Versace. Melissa McCarthy, who was nominated for Bridesmaids, joined the dark-hued dresses in navy Badgley Mischka. Angelina Jolie brought the disco-inspired vixen to the SAG Awards in a slick, black, and draped halter-style Jenny Packham gown. It's a look that takes us back to Angelina's vampier days - and we loved every angle of this nostalgic throwback. Her pulled-back hair, megawatt lashes, and signature nude lip only amplified the look. To top it off, Angelina wore oversized gold-and-black vintage-inspired earrings, a gold bangle cuff, and a black envelope clutch. What's the verdict on this glamazon look?
