I have a problem: my closet is bursting at the seams and I'm running out of storage ideas. Luckily, a fellow clothes hoarder suggested I swap out my bulky wood and plastic hangers for these Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers, in silver/gray. Not only are they magically slip-proof, but they're super slim as well. In fact, my friend told me it will maximize my closet space - double time! Case closed.

Twinkle by Wenlan creator Wenlan Chia knows where her strength lies. She first got attention going to class in her chunky knit sweaters, and now her knits are everywhere: on the backs of Kate Hudson and Maggie Gyllenhaal, in books, and even keeping clothes hangers warm.

I'm kind of obsessed with Wenlan's hand-knitted Twinkle Knitted Hangers, $55, because don't your chic clothes deserve chic things to hang from? I think so.

Sadly, I don't have the best lighting in my closet. Although, hopefully one day I will have track lighting with a dimmer - obviously I have given this some thought. Check out this clothes hanger lamp by droog design, $254. Designed by Hector Serrano, you can hang the garment of your choice on the hanger and voila! You have both instant lighting in your closet and/or your very own fashion light installation.

Now if I had the money to spare, I would get one of these and highlight a different article of clothing when I had company - talk about a conversation piece! Today, I would hang my newly purchased Rodarte white top from the GAP...I think it would look like an angel.

If you're a traditional gal, chances are you won't move in with your husband-to-be until he is, well, your husband. Sorry to burst your love bubble, but living together means sharing a closet - gasp! For any gal who is overly protective of her clothes (present), this reality is downright scary. But don't reconsider your commitment now; I've got some solutions to ease your closet-sharing fears.

Since you'll probably be moving your clothes into a new closet, it's the ideal time to get rid of stuff you haven't worn in over a year. Honestly, if you haven't worn it in that long, you probably won't wear it again. Plus, even more reason to buy new stuff!
There's nothing like hanging your lovely clothes on pretty and scented hangers. Buy a bunch and you'll keep your section of the closet ultra feminine.
You can barely count how many handbags you own. It's OK - that's why buying a hanging purse organizer is useful. If your husband finds your purses lying on the floor, he won't get that you and your bags are inseparable. And if that happens, you won't be able to defend yourself when buy that new bag to have.

Color coordinating. Since menswear is in vogue, you don't want to run the risk of mixing your clothes up with your hubby. My solution? Color code your entire wardrobe. Start with dark colors (black, navy blue); then move on to neutrals (white, creme, heather gray); finally, get into the colors (fuchsia, orange, yellow). I like to create a little closet rainbow.
Get some hanger tags that let you know how many times you've worn your clothes. That way, you don't over-wash, and in turn, ruin, your clothes.
Investing in a big jewelry chest is a must because you don't want your man messing with your gorgeous bling. To keep it out of his way, keep it on your dresser.
Drawer nooks are a great way to divide your undies and socks and to keep things nice and tidy.

There are two solutions to your static problem. First, take dryer sheets like Bounce Outdoor Fresh Dryer Sheets ($34) and do a rigorous rub down on the problem areas, including tights, clothes, and/or slips. Another way is to take a wire hanger and rub the long side on your clothes. A good rub down before heading out the door will do you and your gorgeous clothes some good.

Store ambiance is essential to the shopping experience. I am very aware if a store has poor lighting, unorganized racks and crappy customer service. I am turned on when a store has awesome music, a functional layout and helpful salespeople. But I do pay little attention to store fixtures - unless they look like this. These Rick Lee Design Sutra Suspension Racks, price upon request, are way Fab. I saw them upon a visit to Lee's joint studio with his couturier wife Colleen Quen - extraordinary designs by the way - and I had to share. They are so graceful, unique and are meant to be admired. So, admire away.
