Chloë Sevigny has been a style risk taker from day one. The proof is in the pictures. In honor of her birthday today - congrats, girl! - let's take a trip down red-carpet lane to admire this fearless, fashion-forward woman. Since '98, Chloë's style has not changed that drastically. She has always favored off-kilter, yet totally sexy pieces. Black is a staple, but she doesn't turn her back on bold colors. Yellow, fuchsia, orange, purple - they're all part of her closet. She never shies away from sheer and sliced, but also rocks conservative ensembles like second skin. And, get this, she wore an oversized bow headband back when whimsical wasn't the word. Lastly, she's got some killer legs. A true fashion chameleon, we heart you, Chloë.

Happy Birthday, Diane!

On this day in 1976, a fashion goddess named Diane Kruger was born. Thirty-three years later, she lights up the red carpet, fires up the front rows, and pretties up the streets with her boldly chic fashion choices. I mean, no wonder she has befriended the hard-to-get Karl Lagerfeld, and is in fashion's cool clique. There isn't a dress Diane doesn't turn to gold, there isn't a trend she flops - it's all fair game for her and it's always right on. The key to her success is simplicity; she's not a big bling girl but she knows how to work her hats, scarves, and bags. When you go back to her early red carpet photos, she's still stunningly modern. May this new year of life bring Diane nothing but amazing things and amazing fashions. We'll be waiting . . .

Happy 23rd, Mary-Kate & Ashley!

Today is a special day. On June 13, in 1986, two future fashionistas - Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - entered this world. And I'm glad they did. I can't imagine the world without Mary-Kate's hobo chic. She has outgrown that baggy-clothes phase, but continues to do her own thing. Then there's Ashley, the chic minimalist, anti-accessory. Give her a simple black Calvin Klein dress and killer shoes and she's golden. Then, of course, there are their fashion lines, The Row and Elizabeth and James. Speaking of, E&J's new shoe line is ready to devour. Let's all wish our favorite twins a happy 23rd by checking out their most innovative outfits through the years.

Happy Birthday to the Fierce Christian Siriano!

On Tuesday night, Project Runway Season Four winner Christian Siriano celebrated his 23rd birthday. But he didn't have to plan anything; it was a surprise! The place was Citrine in New York City. The fabulous guest list included Leigh Lezark, who was also the night's DJ, actress Leven Rambin, and American's Next Top Model alum Kim Stolz. An interesting mix, right? That about sums up the adorably charismatic Christian. From the looks of it, the birthday boy had a blast and then some. Posing with his birthday cupcakes, clapping, kissing his guests - yeah, that sounds like Christian. Welcome to the party.

Pick up the November issue of Harper's Bazaar and you'll soon realize that one of the greatest fashion magazines, started in 1867, is celebrating it's big 1-4-0! In a world so fickle, lasting that long in any industry is not easy. So let's put our hands together, clear our throats, and sing one of our favorite mags a happy birthday.

In celebration, this month's issue features quotes from the most influential designers today. They were asked former Bazaar columnist Diana Vreeland's famous question, "Why don't you?" and here's what some had to say...
