Fall is upon us! Before we know it, Winter will be here too, all blustery and cold. Since I'm trying to think ahead, and admittedly have a mad scarf addiction, I was looking for the perfect scarf to add to my collection.

That's when I came across this RedEnvelope Merino Wool Hat-Scarf, $75, which is like two warm Winter accessories in one. The hat and scarf button together to keep your head and neck warm, but you can unbutton the two pieces and wear them separately too.

I love this idea, and the way the hat-scarf wraps around reminds me of all the old Hollywood stars and the headscarves they used to wear. Everyone needs a little old Hollywood glamour in their life...

Jessica Simpson stripped off her many layers to go through security at LAX today. She arrived at the airport wearing a hat, scarf, and sunglasses, and cracked a smile as she waited in line. Jessica is headed out of town again after just a few days back in LA following her most recent trip to NYC. When home in California, Jessica shared a lunch date with her sister, Ashlee, and mom, Tina, and while the Simpson girls were busy on the West Coast, Joe Simpson and Jessica's fiancé, Eric Johnson, had some fun of their own in Scotland. Joe and Eric apparently went golfing overseas, leaving Jessica and the rest of the crew home to enjoy their three-day break. Jessica wasn't spotted with the many other celebrities partying on Memorial Day, but she did have a sleepover with her adorable godson to kick off the long weekend.

Rachel McAdams Puts a Lid On It and Lands in London Sans Michael Sheen

Rachel McAdams touched down at Heathrow airport solo today in a hat, scarf, and trench coat. The actress has been lying low since promoting her film Midnight in Paris over the Summer. The Woody Allen-helmed project introduced Rachel and Michael Sheen, who began dating after working together, and the pair didn't hide their romantic relationship as they toured the world to debut the movie. They even spent time in her hometown of Toronto and with Michael's daughter once they wrapped up their red-carpet duties. Despite being absent from the big screen for several months, both Rachel and Michael have a number of highly anticipated films hitting theaters this year and next. Both star alongside Ben Affleck in Terrence Malick's still-untitled next project, and Michael will reunite with the Twilight cast when Breaking Dawn hits theaters in November. Rachel, meanwhile, reteams with Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows.
