Taipei-born designer Jason Wu has quite an eclectic background - he started out as a freelance doll clothing designer and has quickly made a name for himself with real girls in the fashion world with his luxe, super-feminine sportswear collection. Jason's easy, glamorous designs are a hit among stylish stars like Diane Kruger, Blake Lively, and Natalie Portman - not to mention First Lady Michelle Obama, whom he dressed for the inaugural ball in 2008. Each of Jason Wu's collections are impeccably crafted, blending classic haute couture techniques with a modern, sophisticated sensibility. With his Target collection launching Feb. 5, plus a New York Fashion Week show planned for Feb. 10, we thought this would be the perfect time to take a look back at Jason Wu's most memorable runway looks. Zoe Saldana looked gorgeous in a white Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown at this evening's SAG Awards in LA. She just returned to the West Coast after a trip to Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, where she promoted The Words with Bradley Cooper. Zoe is a presenter at tonight's show as are Natalie Portman, Owen Wilson, and others. Jessica Chastain just arrived back from Paris Haute Couture Week, so it's not surprising that her SAG Awards look is a little edgier than most. Her royal blue Calvin Klein Collection column dress has visible underwire cups and a notched neckline, both pretty unexpected on a red carpet that's been full of ball gowns so far. Although her dress is a little futuristic, her hair recalls an earlier era, with perfectly molded curls worthy of Veronica Lake. Do you think the combination works for Ms. Chastain? There were plenty of high-fashion hairstyles at Paris Haute Couture this week, but thanks to the carefree vibe at Sundance, there were just as many cool and casual looks there, too. We loved Kirsten Dunst, who looked ski-girl chic sporting a head-hugging side braid, while fellow festivalgoer Alison Brie of Community fame opted for a fringe-framing wraparound style. And then there was Mandy Moore, who had a little fun on a different red carpet (as an attendee of the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center's benefit), plaiting up some trendy milkmaid braids. That's a wrap on Couture Fashion Week. We've seen everything from neoprene brights and peplum at Atelier Versace to sheer cutouts and sequins at Chanel to beautiful pastel embellishments at Elie Saab - all of which, we predict, we'll be seeing on an A-list red carpet very soon. While the couture collections were nothing short of gorgeous, it's time to take one last look at the fresh front row style. At yesterday's Valentino show, Cameron Diaz worked it in a lacy white Valentino minidress and nude pointy-toe pumps, while Dita Von Teese vamped it up at Jean-Paul Gaultier in all black. Is Kiddie Couture Blurring the Line Between Mom and Child?

We told you luxe is where it's at for tots! Gucci, Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Oscar de la Renta, and Fendi have all extended their design houses to include clothing lines with luxury pieces for pint-sized fashionistas, and it looks like mamas are lapping them up! According to NPD Group Inc. Consumer Tracking Service, Americans spent more than $32 billion on kids clothes last year - with $800 million of that spent on designer kids labels!

Over on Good Morning America this morning, Mary Pflum took an in-depth look at the world of designer kids clothes, interviewing a group of moms and tots about their thoughts on the popular trend. While the girls drooled over the haute couture looks, the moms expressed concern about the lessons the garments teach. One said it becomes hard to teach kids values like "beauty is not determined by a fancy label or a pricey garment," while another said the line between kids and parents becomes blurred when such pieces are so readily available.
