Diane Kruger has shown nothing but showstopping glamour during this year's Cannes Film Festival, so it was only appropriate that she go out on a high note. The actress and film festival juror attended Sunday's closing ceremony and the premiere of Thérèse Desqueyroux in a wildly voluminous Christian Dior Haute Couture ball gown. The black, white, and gray plaid confection had a structured bodice and was accompanied by a very Victorian-inspired bustle and train. She kept all eyes on the gorgeous gown by keeping her hair and makeup slightly subdued and accessorizing only with a pair of diamond earrings. If you're in high school, there is only one thing on your mind right now: Prom! It's one of the quintessential high school experiences that will stick with you for a lifetime. For most of us, it's the first time you really get to dress up like a princess for a night. And because it is such a special night, it calls for a very special dress.

Kate Moss posed for photographer Tim Walker in a gorgeous spread shot at the Ritz Paris for Vogue's April issue. Kate lounged in multiple glamorous rooms inside the famed hotel, wearing haute couture looks by Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Balenciaga, and others. She recounted some of her favorite memories at the Ritz for the publication, including her time spent there with Johnny Depp and her choice drink at the establishment's Hemingway Bar. Here's more from Kate Moss in Vogue:

On staying at the Ritz with her ex-boyfriend: "When I was with Johnny Depp, he always stayed there. I had an apartment in Paris at the time, but he said, 'No, we're staying at the Ritz,' so he came by and swept me up to the Ritz - he didn't want to slum it in my apartment!"
On walking in Versace's show: "Gianni's shows were amazing - and sooo convenient. Walk downstairs, go to work: Love that!"
On what she orders at the bar: "I drink the French 76: vodka, sugar, lemon juice topped up with champagne; it's the best drink ever, but it only tastes like that in the Hemingway Bar. Colin [Field, Ritz Paris head bartender] made it for my wedding. It doesn't taste at all strong - and then, whoa, whoops-a-daisy!"

Jennifer Lopez's chic, maroon-tipped nails were all Oscars beauty watchers could talk about, but although they looked luxe, re-creating them is actually quite wallet friendly. Jennifer's Academy Awards manicurist, Tom Bachik, started by filing her nails into a classic almond shape with a little bit more of a pointed tip than is traditional (think somewhere between your usual oval and Lady Gaga's talons). Bachik then painted on L'Oréal Colour Riche Nail Polish in Because You're Worth It as a base coat, and instead of forming a typical, rounded French tip, he gilded the ends of her nails in a "v" shape using Colour Riche Nail Polish in Haute Couture Red.

Oscars: Rooney Mara

Rooney Mara continues her dramatic red carpet run with an ethereal white Givenchy Haute Couture gown. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo heroine looked stunning in the custom gown that featured cream lace lined with chiffon. She didn't wear jewelry, instead going for her token straight bang look and a red lip. The look is super clean and elegant. What do you think?
