Nars Releases a Short Film About Lipstick

To promote its new line of Pure Matte lipstick, Nars tapped filmmaker Tim Richardson to direct a short film starring model Heather Marks. What starts with a nod to The Lady From Shanghai's most famous scene ends up in a kaleidoscopic take on Marks's face. It's a more arty take on lipstick than your average promotional campaign. NARS's 15X15 soiree, hosted by Marc Jacobs and Daphne Guinness, brought out a bevy of beautiful models to NYC. While Daphne went galactic, the PYTs opted for something sexier. Julie Henderson looked sweet in a strapless pink print frock; Selita wowed in purple Balmain; Anja emoted sultry pirate power; Heather opted for Balmain's spiky studs; and Lisa Marie Smith took the avant-garde route. Decisions, decisions: which stunner is most Fab?

I know it's kind of hard to think about Fall while you're basking in the warm sunshine, but trust me, you're going to want to see these images of H&M's upcoming Fall collection.

It looks like the mega-retail chain has upped the ante in their Fall campaign using model Heather Marks to show off their fabulous Winter collection. The knitwear looks fabulous and I'm beginning to love the boxy, menswear-inspired cuts. The collection as a whole is quite refreshing and I look forward to seeing it in stores. Something to look forward to, no?

What Was She Thinking?!

Where there's fashion, there's fun. At least that's what my friend Simon Doonan and I preach. I'm sure my girl GiggleSugar would agree. Like Barneys, Fab loves to mix fashion and humor, so we present to you this new post that highlights the funny moments in fashion.

Some fun happens behind the seams, where models and designers shuffle around trying to get everything ready for show time. Take this backstage snapshot of models Emina Cunmulaj, Behati Prinsloo, and Heather Marks. It looks like Heather is rubbing Emina's breast for good luck, while Behati tries to get in on the action with her mouth. All the while, Emina is thinking, "What? Does my breast look like Buddha's belly to you?"

The Cast of Glee Dishes About Rumors, Prom, and Kurt's Return to McKinley High

The cast of Glee stuck together in LA last night during their PaleyFest panel. The crew chatted about upcoming episodes, returning characters, and what's in store for this year's prom. Lea Michele missed the event as she was busy making out with Ashton Kutcher for New Year's Eve in NYC, and in her absence, Chris Colfer let it slip that he'll be leaving The Warblers and returning to McKinley High. The show's creator Ryan Murphy dished that we'll be seeing more than just Gwyneth Paltrow in upcoming episodes, with Kristin Chenoweth also making a return cameo, and Jane Lynch wouldn't mind getting Carol Burnett back. There are plans for an episode dedicated to Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album, and as the end of the school year nears they'll be building to a pivotal prom night - especially for Kurt and Blaine. Announcing the 2012 Independent Spirit Award Nominees

Kate Beckinsale and Anthony Mackie were up early this morning to present the nominees for the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The Artist and Take Shelter lead the pack with five nominations apiece. Right behind it was Drive, which picked up four nods, including one for leading man Ryan Gosling. The Descendants also scored four nominations, though George Clooney was left off the list this time. Though two of our favorite movies of the year didn't pick up quite as many nods, I was happy to see that Beginners and 50/50 got some love, including nominations for best feature.

James Beard Awards Kick off With Book, Broadcast, & Journalism Awards

The best of the best of the nation's food world glitterati are in New York this weekend for the industry's Oscars, the James Beard Awards. Although the main ceremony doesn't take place until later this evening, the events kicked off on Friday with the announcement of the book, broadcast, and journalism awards.
