A friend's recent trip to Croatia inspired daydreams of my future honeymoon. From what she described and the pics I saw, it has picturesque coastlines and untouched natural beauty - sounds amazing. This Très-approved country has certainly piqued my interest, so I asked you to play pretend and picture Fab newly married and off to a Croatian honeymoon. What did you pack for me?

The Honeymoon's Over: How to Organize Your New Couple's Closet

If you're a traditional gal, chances are you won't move in with your husband-to-be until he is, well, your husband. Sorry to burst your love bubble, but living together means sharing a closet - gasp! For any gal who is overly protective of her clothes (present), this reality is downright scary. But don't reconsider your commitment now; I've got some solutions to ease your closet-sharing fears.

Since you'll probably be moving your clothes into a new closet, it's the ideal time to get rid of stuff you haven't worn in over a year. Honestly, if you haven't worn it in that long, you probably won't wear it again. Plus, even more reason to buy new stuff!
There's nothing like hanging your lovely clothes on pretty and scented hangers. Buy a bunch and you'll keep your section of the closet ultra feminine.
You can barely count how many handbags you own. It's OK - that's why buying a hanging purse organizer is useful. If your husband finds your purses lying on the floor, he won't get that you and your bags are inseparable. And if that happens, you won't be able to defend yourself when buy that new bag to have.

Color coordinating. Since menswear is in vogue, you don't want to run the risk of mixing your clothes up with your hubby. My solution? Color code your entire wardrobe. Start with dark colors (black, navy blue); then move on to neutrals (white, creme, heather gray); finally, get into the colors (fuchsia, orange, yellow). I like to create a little closet rainbow.
Get some hanger tags that let you know how many times you've worn your clothes. That way, you don't over-wash, and in turn, ruin, your clothes.
Investing in a big jewelry chest is a must because you don't want your man messing with your gorgeous bling. To keep it out of his way, keep it on your dresser.
Drawer nooks are a great way to divide your undies and socks and to keep things nice and tidy.
Perfumed drawer papers are great for keeping your lingerie smelling fresh. Wink.

This has no bells and whistles. Sometimes a song doesn't need any of that. It's all about the lyrics. Ever need to switch the song because you get choked up listening to it? There are a few songs that have that effect on me - this is one of them. Jamiroquai is a longtime favorite of mine; he's funky, multitalented (adorable dance moves), and wears really fun hats. This song is so sweet, so romantic, it would bring any girl to tears, especially while on her honeymoon. Don't let the kindergarten script deter you, this song is about some serious love.

Fab Finding Follow-Up: Love Me Down Under

It's honeymoon week in Sugarland so I told you to make believe you're going down under to Australia with your new hubby. You'll be doing a little bit of everything - hiking, clubbing, shopping, sightseeing - so you'll need a well-rounded collection of clothes. But don't forget it's Winter there now so try to stay away from hot-weather items.

Fab Finding Follow Up: A Honeymoon Trek Through Europe!

Earlier in the week, I told you that one of my good friends is getting married and for her honeymoon she's doing a big tour around Europe! I asked you to help her out by putting yourself in her fabulous shoes and finding outfits that will be attractive to her new hubbie, but at the same time, comfortable enough to wear while toting luggage, riding trains, and boarding planes!

Honeymoon Packing Guide: Make it All Fit!

Let me guess: wedding planning has taken up all your time and you haven't yet thought of a packing strategy for your honeymoon. Fret not because Fab is here to help! Whether you're jetting off to Tahiti, Paris or Vegas, there are basic packing tricks to save space and time - including beauty essentials. To avoid a major headache, be sure to learn some tips on getting organized pre-honeymoon.

Roll every possible item of clothing you can along the inside of your superfly luggage creating a border along the suitcase wall. You can fold pants and jeans, and then plop toiletries in the middle of your border of rolls.
Put your shoes in shoe bags or old plastic bags and wherever you see empty space in between clothes, shove your shoes there!
To save space in your luggage, and to prevent theft, pack your jewelry in your carry on.
Carry the biggest purse you're planning on taking on the plane. Pack the smaller ones (i.e. clutches, etc) in your luggage - remember you only need a couple favorites that go with everything!
Pack black, white and nude bras - and maybe one fun colored one. Oh, and don't forget your strapless bras for those scanty tops!
Travel detergent is a must; when I travel is the only time I hand wash. Plus, foreign countries have really harsh detergent sometimes. Try this Travel Laundry Kit, $8.
Scarves are great for travel because they can serve as headgear, neckgear, a cuddle up on the plane, purse accessory or belt.
