Celebrity Style: Birthday Girl, Diane Kruger!

Join me in wishing Fab favorite Diane Kruger a happy birthday today. May her year be filled with lots of happiness, love, health . . . and fashion! The actress attended Longchamp's 60th anniversary celebration in an ensemble that only risk-taking girls like her can pull off. While other guests wore dresses, Diane showed up in high-waisted Grey Ant trousers, a gray crop top, and her favorite fedora. She tapped the look off with a salmon-colored Longchamp clutch and a thin white watch. As always, Fab-u-lous.

Inglourious Style Brigade

Last night was a big night for the cool cast of Inglourious Basterds. At the New York premiere, co-hosted by Hugo Boss, a wild mix of Hollywood and fashion folk came out to support Quentin and Co. We already saluted Diane Kruger in her sparkling Miu Miu, but really, there was a festive mix of glam, casual, city, and street. Cinema-loving designers included Marc Jacobs and beau, Zac Posen, Rachel Roy, and Nicole Miller. And it's always lovely to see style mavens Michelle Monaghan and Eva Amurri. Sienna Miller in Genie Pants: Love It or Hate It?

Not many people dare to wear genie pants, but say that to Sienna Miller. At the Hugo Boss Orange fragrance appearance in Spain, the bohemian actress donned a white pair with a black blazer, gray tee, and light blue heels from Maison Martin Margiela. She also threw on a wide black bangle for a bold yet minimal statement. Genie pants are popular in Spain, so I'm sure the audience loved her look, but tell me your thoughts: do you love it or hate it?

Fab Face: Anouck Lepére

Anouck Lepére. Anyone who keeps close tabs on the modeling world has surely heard this Belgian name. It is that of one of the most involved models right now. Not only does Anouck show her pretty face on all the major runways, she also frequents editorial spreads in magazines, and has been the face of Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein.

What's more, she's a model about town, attending all the coolest parties in her quirky outfits. Well, it helps that she calls both Dries van Noten and Olivier Theyskens friends. In fact, the designers are the reason the once architecture student pursued modeling. The 29-year-old also has a jewelry line on the side. Oh, and if you must know, she's currently dating Kate Moss's baby daddy, Jefferson Hack. Gulp! What a mouthful Anouck's glamorous life is.

Fab Flash: Valentino Throws in the Designing Towel

This just in: Valentino is expected to confirm his resignation from the brand he founded in 1960. The news is not that shocking considering there was much speculation of his exit since Permira bought the Valentino Fashion Group, which owns Hugo Boss, M Missoni as well as a 45 percent stake in Proenza Schouler.

Alessandra Facchinetti, the former head of women's wear at Gucci, has been appointed creative director of Valentino's women's collections by Valentino Fashion Group. She will be responsible for the brand's couture and ready-to-wear collections, along with RED and Roma, secondary lines.

But Valentino isn't leaving without a finale: the designer will present one more ready-to-wear show as well as one more Haute Couture season.

This is a sad day for fashion but we wish Valentino all the luck in his future endeavors!
