Where Are They Now? America's Next Top Models

I always wondered if America's Next Top Model really gives the amateur contestants the exposure they need to get modeling jobs after their reality glory days are over. Judging from these photos, it looks like it does! How credible and desirable the jobs are is a whole different story. The important thing is that they're working, making money, and getting some exposure, right?

CariDee English, winner of Season 7, is busy partying and acting these days. She even made an appearance on Gossip Girl. Nik from Season 5 is working the runways these days, while Season 5 winner Nicole Linkletter is showing off clothes for SoLowStyle.com. Jade from Season 6 is currently the face of Apple Bottom Jeans by Nelly, and the latest winner Jaslene Gonzalez is in ads for Lot 29. Each girl has found her niche in a different place, but one thing they have in common is that they're workin' it.

One standout is this Smocked Knit Dress ($27, originally $40). The jade hue is so regal and the silhouette is flattering and chic. The selection also includes tweed trousers, cashmere sweaters, pencil skirts, lace tops, ballet flats, jeans, peacoats, and clutches.

At prices ranging from $8 to $80, it's definitely worth a look, or two, or three...

Fabcon: Jade Jagger

Jagger. Rhymes with dagger. Reminds of juicy, full lips. Represents coolness and rock n' roll. There's no wonder why Jade Jagger is Fabcon material. The only daughter resulting from the marriage of Mick and Bianca Jagger, Jade is a pint-sized paragon of bohemian style. She is an English model, jewelry designer and socialite, whose best friends include Kate Moss and Matthew Williamson. Shall I go on?

When her parents divorced in 1980, Jagger moved to New York with her style icon mum where she was often babysat by Andy Warhol at the Factory - she was nine years. But she turned out a-ok. She now lives with her hubbie and two daughters in London and the island of Ibiza. Yes, Ibiza. This explains her Mediterranean-inspired wardrobe of bright colors, bold jewelry and funky whimsy. Though her ten-year stint designing high-end jewelry for Garrard ended in 2006, I always perk up when I see Jade. What's next for JJ? She is selling her namesake jewelry line on NET-A-PORTER.com, but this is one fabulous gal I wouldn't mind hearing is embarking on a career as fashion designer. Jade, are you listening?

Jade Jagger Satin Skull Beaded Bracelet: Love It or Hate It?

I swear Jade Jagger reads Fab. Shortly after I announced her a Fabcon, her new jewelry line popped up in ELLE and our favorite shopping websites. Obviously I dig her boho, rock n' roll vibe, but aren't we a little over skulls? Most of her jewelry line involves the motif that flourished last Spring, i.e. this Jade Jagger Satin Skull Beaded Bracelet ($255). I still like skulls, I would just rather be wearing stars around my wrist right now. Thoughts?

It's been a busy week with the start of New York Fashion Week, but you better believe I've been keeping a close eye on those stylish celebs. This week's gang is mostly fancied up - George Clooney's girl Elisabetta Canalis worked the red carpet in teal blue Roberto Cavalli, Eva Mendes balanced sexy and elegant, and Penelope Cruz experimented with a new color. But in my humble opinion, Alexis Bledel stole the show in her one-shoulder Christian Siriano. I mean, between the red lips, the two-tone frock, and the red pumps, it's perfection. See who else dazzled us.

2010 Spring New York Fashion Week: Peter Som

If I were to pick one collection from this Fashion Week that best represents Fab, it would be Peter Som. Seriously, I didn't want to leave this presentation; alas, I had to go to Marchesa . . . life is rough. Som has clearly moved past his turbulent Bill Blass past, fully opening his heart to his namesake. Som's Spring collection made me feel like a kid in a candy store. It was fresh, colorful, funky, youthful. There was so much spunk, it was probably overwhelming for the most pro-black jaded fashionista. Or, hopefully, it was eye-opening.

In every direction there was flirtation. There was a slight American feel via marine-stripes, sundresses, charm bracelets, and red, white and blue. You hear me talk about mixmastering - Som continues the conversation. A hodgepodge of colors and textures were swirled together; leopard, splash florals, embroidery, polka-dots, herringbone. Even woven belts were two-tone, sunglasses marbelized. The emphasis was on separates, and fun, lots and lots of fun.

Fashion Week Quickie: Rebecca Taylor's Sweet City Girl

New York Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow and yours truly will be leaving on a jet plane, heading into the fashion frazzle. But if the Spring collections are as pretty as Rebecca Tayor's promises to be, it's shouldn't be too fretful.

For Spring, the Fab fave designer is inspired by "urban femininity." Expect to see skyscraper-printed sandals and architectural stretch dresses softened by corseted bustiers and flippy, pull-on printed skirts. Tiny leather skirts, strong shoulders, and a tight-waisted silhouette modernize the collection. Always keen on color, big-apple reds, shocking pinks, electric blues, and retro jades contrast with desert tans and soft, peachy oranges. Sounds delicious.

Celebrity Style: Kristen Bell

While many PYTs showed up for Hollywood Life's 5th Annual Hollywood Style Awards in West Hollywood last night, no one shined like Kristen Bell. While the rest of the world is tucking away their summery dresses and sandals, she gave hers one last spin in a strapless striped ivory Monique Lhuillier dress, nude sandals and a jade green clutch. Her cool swirly necklace made an additional statement. She looks happy in this light-hued look - I would be, too.

Glitterati: Urban Dencity

Has anyone seen Grease 2? I know you've seen the original Grease many times, and we all have every song memorized. I always liked Grease 2 as well - it was Michelle Pfeiffer's, AKA Stephanie Zinone's, breakthrough role after all. And 'Cool Rider' is just such a great song. I do have a point to this, wait for it. In the movie there is a big talent show and the sassy gals of Grease 2 sing a song with the chorus: "I'll be your girl for all seasons...all the year through..." or something like that. Urban Dencity is a jewelry designer for a girl of all seasons. The designer Kim Shephard has already personified her jewels for you:

Jade is bold, exotic and loves making a statement
