The September Issue opens at a theater near you this Friday — look out for my review earlier that day — but the stars got to see the highly anticipated flick last night. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art was the location and the guest list included Ginnifer Goodwin, Shenae Grimes, Jennifer Morrison, and more. Unlike us, who go to the movies in jeans, these celebs donned the cutest frocks.

This Spring, in the comedy I Love You, Man, we witnessed one of the happiest, liveliest colors a bridesmaid can wear. The maids in the movie wore Nanette Lepore's "Still Free" shift dresses, FYI. Appropriate for a garden, beach, or even indoor wedding (if the reception or party is outdoors), your bridesmaids will thank you.

Another day, another celebrity line: this Spring, Jaime Pressly is expanding her two-year-old knitwear line, J'aime by Jaime Pressly, to be a full-on contemporary wear collection.
Renamed J'aime Collection, her wares will now include casual, career, and party styles. The main palette includes navy, chocolate, rust, paisley, Indian ethnic, and white in fabrics like voile, linen, silk, chiffon, and eyelet.

There's a reason these lovely actresses traveled back in time for their Emmy fashion inspiration: because a gal can never go wrong with some Old Hollywood Glamour. Marcia Cross, Katherine Heigl, Kate Walsh, Heidi Klum, Jaime Pressly and Rebecca Romijn all went the glam route, but they each took very different roads to get there. Marcia, Katherine and Rebecca went simple and chic with neutral hues, while Heidi and Kate went va-va-voom in red.

Wow! That's all I can say about Jaime and her outfit of choice. She looks so sophisticated in her new motherhood!

I was surprised at the lack of color on the SAG Awards red carpet. You would think with it being the supposed more laid back of the awards shows peeps would take more fashion risks. I was hoping more women would go against the grain, but I guess I will have to hope for the Oscars.
