Don't get me wrong, she's an amazing model, but the choice seems a little out of character for both Wasson and J.Crew.

Jessica Szohr's Gossip Girl style tends to run on the bohemian side, but offset, the actress likes to play it cool in fresh, casual wear. I like how the black blazer adds a polished touch while funky jewels and a straw fedora show off her fly personality.

I have plenty of Summer pieces that can work in the Fall, but I'm thinking some stylish socks will help take them from warm weather to cold. So I did some sock hunting and found plenty of cute pairs — striped, solid, short, long. I think these J.Crew Trouser Socks ($10, left) and Urban Outfitters Crochet Socks ($5, originally $8) will fit most seamlessly into my wardrobe.

The season premiere of Gossip Girl had Blair Waldorf emoting Upper East Side sass in an ensemble that only a true fashionphile can appreciate. While stalking the NYC streets with the always dapper Chuck Bass, the high school graduate wore a decadent brocade dress with a chunky gold chain bracelet. She added a youthful touch by accessorizing with a funky L.A.M.B.
Trend Alert: Crisp Cobalt
Victoria Beckham was probably so proud to see Blake Lively donning her stunning creation at the Saks Fifth Avenue soiree in NYC. It doesn't take much for the Gossip Girl to shine, but I can't help but be blinded by the crisp cobalt hue. This bold blue is once again popular, and I can see why.
