This season, the ladies of the Golden Globes were all about wicked waist details. This special detailing lends instant interest to the midsection and can also break up a busy print. Waist details take the form of belts, large embellishments, or can even come preset like Olivia Wilde's dreamy Reem Acra gown, seen left. SAG Awards Trend Alert: The Blues

Thank goodness there's no more reason to be depressed about the lack of red carpets. Nonetheless, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Andrea Bowen, Amanda Bynes, Jenna Fischer, and Marcia Cross all still brought the blues . . . and teals, and turquoises to the SAG red carpet. I can't say I'm complaining - turquoise is my favorite color, after all.

The lovely and talented Emily Blunt wore a pair of 12 carat canary diamond drop earrings worth $400,000 and an 11.94 carat canary diamond ring worth an estimated $450,000. Nice nice nice!

Soft and sweet Jenna Fischer wore a pair of silver over gold diamond earrings with a pearl drop on the end as well as a cluster of diamond deco bracelets.

The fiancee of funny man Borat, Isla Fisher wore a pair of eight and a half carat heart shaped diamond drop earrings worth $250,000 and a pair of 18 carat white gold diamond caviar bangles worth $65,000.

I always pay attention to the details on the red carpet. While you initially see a fantastic dress, when you zoom in on the detailing and the jewels that go along with it, the entire look comes together. Unfortunately we have to view the gowns and baubles from a distance, but we have our trusty photogs to provide a closer look. Here are some sexy backs and necks at the SAGs. A couple lessons we can all learn: Play up your best features and a lot of bling goes a long way.
