Jessica McClintock Beaded Soft Clutch: Love It or Hate It?

My high school senior prom dress was Jessica McClintock. I am happy to announce that I still adore what I wore to prom; it was a strapless champagne mermaid gown, with a rhinestone border along the fold at the bustline. It may sound boring, but it was classic. Admittedly, I haven't purchased a piece of Jessica since, but I'm thinking this Jessica McClintock Beaded Soft Clutch ($68) would add character to a simple LBD. Thoughts?

Trend Alert: Cross Your Strap

It's not the most obvious trend but if you cross your strap, you'll be hands-free and styling with the likes of Chloe Sevigny. Cross-body evening bags are perfect for those nonchalant evenings out on the town - or concerts! - and it's a fun way to make use out of your fancy little bags. I've already jumped on this utilitarian trend, will you do the same?

mocelebgossisme says it best: go gold or go home! And it doesn't hurt that her voluminous dress lends a pretty convincing argument for her case. The gold color looks great against her bronzed skin, and I love the gathering of the skirt. This one gets a perfect 10!

The day of mushy romance has arrived: Valentine's Day. For those of you with a date, I asked you all to find a fantastic outfit to wear tonight. I'll live vicariously through all of you! But I had one restriction: no RED allowed, except for the red lipstick I provided. I think there are several other sexy colors one can wear that communicate romance: black, purple, pink and white are some examples. I started you off with my newest favorite red lipstick Giorgio Armani matte silk lipstick #11, $25. Number 11 is also my lucky number (maybe I'll end up getting lucky after all)!
