She looked cozy and adorable in Cooperative's Polar Bear Sweater ($35, originally $50), a black paper bag waist skirt, black tights, and a pair of Jessica Simpson Dany platforms ($49, originally $98). She accessorized with a chic faux-fur purse and a pretty red pout. Way to look Fab, weather be damned!

With only eight days to go until New Year's Eve, I thought it fitting to pay homage to the quintessential party girl and ladylike legend, Holly Golightly. The iconic image of Miss G enjoying coffee and a croissant while gazing into Tiffany's is permanently ingrained in my head. Holly was the ultimate glamorous girl-about-town, and she always dressed the part. Get her glam look with a long black sheath dress ($80), shiny kitten heels, and elbow-length gloves. Make the look modern with a crystal headband and sequin clutch - and don't forget the pearls.

Trend Alert: Fantastic Elastic

Anyone else know the musician Fantastic Plastic Machine? If you're into swanky, bossa nova electro tunes, you may want to hear the Japanese DJ out. These fantastic elastic shoes reminded me of the fantastically named artist. I haven't heard what he's been up to . . . Anywho, how Fab is this sporty sexy shoe style? You don't have to tell me. And the best part is they provide some leeway for when you do get around to listening to Fantastic Plastic Machine and feel the need to cut a shag rug.

Fab Flash: Jessica Simpson Plays Dress Up

Jessica Simpson is one busy girl. Following the recent announcement of adding an intimates collection to her repertoire, the celebrity designer, in conjunction with G-III Apparel Group Ltd., will be adding dresses to her Jessica Simpson retail brand.

"I'm extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace," said Simpson.

Price points for the dresses are still to be determined but are expected to be in line with Simpson's current offerings of handbags, footwear, swimwear, outerwear, eyewear, and jewelry. The first selection of frocks are set for a soft launch in Spring 2009, with a more complete collection available in stores in Fall 2009.

This is one of the first times in a long time that I've seen Jennifer Garner looking so sophisticated and put together. I know she has a family to look after, but in my book, there's never an excuse for looking sloppy. An all-black look can sometimes look harsh, but here, on her way to a business meeting, the actress looks simple and sophisticated. And that Chloe bag is always a winner!

Jessica Simpson and Rachel Zoe turned out in NYC last night for the 25th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards. The show was held at the Museum of Modern Art, and Jessica posed for pictures with fiancé Eric Johnson before heading inside.

Rachel received one of two launch of the year prizes from her friend and fellow shoe creator Brian Atwood - and funnily enough, Rachel presented Brian with the corresponding honor! Recounting a tale about loving shoes in her youth, Rachel said, "I was a salesperson at Nine West in the Short Hills Mall. True story. And I was salesperson of the week. Every week." Jessica was on hand to present her business partner Vince Camuto with brand of the year. Referring to reports that her Jessica Simpson Collection has earned $1 billion in revenue, Jess said of Vince, "I'm not the billion-dollar baby. Vince Camuto is truly the billion-dollar baby." Jess is a veteran at the shoe gala, as she was honored with launch of the year back in 2005.
