Fashion week confessional: during my first days of fashion week in New York I had the worst wedgies. I don't know if it was the mad rushing, the humidity or my lame boy shorts - a combination of all three I'm sure. But, like a true fabionista, I kept on keepin' on. One magical day I wore these Jockey® "No Panty Line Promise" Tactel Modern Briefs ($8.50) and my butt cheeks were the happiest. Yes, they promise no VPLs, but they should double that promise. After all, wedgies are not, and will never be, in vogue.

You may have spotted Amanda Teal's styling prowess in Matchbook magazine's garden party spread, but you may not know about her burgeoning design firm, or the serendipitous path that led her to the industry.

As the daughter of a famous jockey, Amanda inherited a love of horses and spent her early twenties as a professional equestrian. A riding job lured her to San Francisco where she met fellow horse-lover and local designer, Rebecca Bradley. The two quickly discovered that they shared a common interest outside of the stables, and under Rebecca's encouragement, Amanda secured a design degree and an internship at Rebecca's firm. A quick and enthusiastic learner, Amanda moved up the ranks of the firm before finally leaving to open Amanda Teal Design in the Fall of 2010.

Meet Zara Phillips: The Next Royal Bride

Royal watchers already know Zara Phillips, granddaughter to Queen Elizabeth and 13th in line to the throne. The daughter of Princess Anne is engaged to English rugby player Mike Tindall, and they will marry this Saturday, July 30. Don't expect to see a repeat of William and Kate's big day, as Zara and Mike are planning a lower-key wedding in Scotland, although Grandma is said to be throwing a reception.

Unlike her cousins Princes William and Harry or Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara doesn't carry a title. Princess Anne declined a title for her children, and they don't use the HRH style. Zara, who turned 30 this year, is an accomplished equestrian, as well as an outdoor-fashion designer. And she almost represented Britain at the Olympics, but had to withdraw from the team due to an injury. Formerly a staple of British tabloids, thanks to her rocky relationship with jockey Richard Johnson, Zara has settled down and the queen and Prince Philip are said to be "delighted" about her upcoming wedding.

Prince Harry Makes a Dashing Appearance at the King George Horse Races

Prince Harry threw on his suit Saturday to visit the King George VI races, named for his great-grandfather, near London. He arrived to present a trophy to winning jockeys like Serena Brotherton and William Buick. It was a day of official duties after some fun for the prince. Prince Harry is dating Florence Brudenell-Bruce, according to reports, and even crossed paths with her ex, the Formula One driver Jenson Button, at a sporting event earlier this month. Prince Harry and his family are gearing up for another exciting event with the wedding of his cousin, Zara Phillips, and rugby player Mike Tindall on July 30. Zara, the daughter of Prince Charles's sister Anne, are having their ceremony in Scotland with many of her relatives expected to attend.

Kate and Pippa Middleton Step Out For Friends Sam Waley Cohen and Bella Ballin's Wedding!

It's been quite a day for Kate Middleton! Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Queen's birthday celebration earlier today, and this afternoon the Duchess of Cambridge changed her dress, but kept her fascinator, to join her sister Pippa at their friend's wedding. Kate and Pippa were both in black pumps and summery dresses to watch jockey Sam Waley Cohen and his bride Bella Ballin tie the knot in Berkshire, UK. Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Dave Clark also attended the ceremony. The groom reportedly played a crucial role in the relationship of Kate and Prince William, since Sam is credited with bringing the couple back together when they briefly split. Sam and Bella have been longtime friends of Kate and Will and were on the guest list for the royal wedding in April. Kate made her first official royal appearances this week as well, stepping out in a stunning Jenny Packham gown for the ARK dinner on Thursday.
