Signing a multimillion dollar deal sure hasn't affected Kate Moss's designing skills. In fact, I think it's only boosted them. For her Fall '09 collection for Topshop, Moss ditched the heart-print tees and printed maxis for unique knits and sumptuous coats. And who better to show it all off than the Super herself? The simple, dark backdrop puts all the focus on Kate's selection of nubby mohair jackets, billowy chiffon gypsy-inspired frocks, and sleek black separates - much more sophisticated and tailored than any of her past collections. Maybe Hussein Chalayan's comments about her designing struck a cord? Whatever it is, I like it. You know you want more . . .

It's hard to believe that Kate Moss is already releasing her fifth round of Topshop clothes, but the time is here. Her Spring collection debuted this morning in stores and online. Inspired by her extensive travel experiences in Ibiza, Miami, and India (lucky!), her latest offering focuses on the global traveler trend mixed in with her own boho-luxe style. The collection is eclectic with something for everyone: nautical tops, retro party dresses, Native American and Aztec prints, and embroidery aplenty. The thread that pulls it all together is that it's all very Kate, indeed.

There are several things I like about Kate Moss' collection for Topshop:

Kate is a true fashion icon and therefore she's got fashion cred to create her own goods.
The prices are mid-range and accessible - via the Topshop Kate Moss store.
The collections keep coming! It's great, it seems each month there are new items to consider. Such is the case with her holiday collection. We gave you a taste of it via i-D magazine and here's much more!

I've got my eye on a couple New Year's-worthy frocks. Maybe I'll finally cave and treat myself to a little Kate Moss, as a Christmas present to self. Some of these items are ready for the taking so stop reading and go shop!

Christmas Comes Early for Kate Moss and Topshop

Kate Moss launched yet another line for Topshop, this time her Christmas collection (check out a peek at it here), in London last night. Kate was showing off her glamorous new 'do alongside friends like Naomi, Sadie Frost and Jade Jagger. That sequins number is getting me in the mood for the impending holiday party season, but we've got to get through that day at the end of this month first. Kate's come a long way since her 90's days with Calvin Klein, but her early modeling look will always be iconic and according to Fab, that "Heroin Chic" could even make a saucy and sassy Halloween costume. Kate Moss clearly loves the holidays. She decided to sugar coat her latest Topshop collection, with sweet frocks and light hearted whimsy.

As if! This is the Kate Moss I know and love. When Kate rocks it she rocks it hard and she has shown her true edginess with her holiday offerings, as shown in this month's i-D magazine.

While peroxided chunky hair normally screams Blondie to me, Kate the reinventor has done just that, and with her certain je ne sais quoi. With the mix of blacker than black pieces, skin as accessory and beads and sequins, this collection may be her best collection yet.

Kate Moss for Topshop Update!

It's update time! Last week you all got a teeny glimpse of the Fall collection for SJP's Bitten, and here's a bit more to feed on from Kate Moss's Fall Topshop collection. While the initial pandemonium has subsided, I bet Kate lovers will once again be flocking to Topshop stores and online for the Fall collection, which debuts September 7.

What do we see here? Her signature color - black - but also pink! This striped sweater is adorable and the other pieces appear to be cozy knits, party dresses and edgy garb with sheen. All still pretty Kate Mossy-inspired to me!

Kate Moss & Topshop: The Premiere!

It has arrived! Or rather, the mayhem has begun! In anticipation of the Kate Moss/Topshop launch, Kate herself served as a mannequin in the storefront window on London's Oxford Street Topshop store. Here she is playing coy in one of her creations. The doors opened a couple of hours ago and there's no doubt there was a mad rush if you see the lines of lassies who gathered in front of the store.

As for the rest of us Americans, Kate's line will be sold at Barneys and Barneys coop on May 9th; or you can keep checking Kate Moss' Topshop online store to see when items are available to buy - word on the street is after 8:00 PM Pacific Time.

See It: Kate Moss's Topshop Collection

Ahem. We the people have been given a real preview of Kate Moss's Topshop collection that is in stores May 1st. On the ball as always, fashionologie alerted me to this exciting news. And I have to say: SJP's got some serious competition. Both of these collections have been created by style icons, both are high-low fashion for the masses (i.e. you & me), and both are sort of unattainable (i.e. select retailers only). I hope we get another sneak peek at SJP's because Kate's rockin' slinky dresses and shrunken vests look damn cute.
