Behind the Seams: Stefano Pilati Parties at YSL Dover Street Market Launch

We couldn't expect anything but the best at the grand opening of YSL's stand-alone Edition 24 space at London's Dover Street Market.

Fashion A-listers who joined YSL designer Stefano Pilati in fashion giddiness included Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, stylist Katie Grand, and Erin O'Conner, perused the amazing limited-edition items inspired by travel and functionality. Perfect for all those jet-setters, no? The theatrical set designed by Michael Howells worked as a great backdrop for the guests as they partied away and enjoyed copious amounts of bubbly. Pilati even gifted his friends with a limited-edition YSL canvas bag - lucky ducks!

Fab Flash: Gap Releases Mulberry Bag for Valentine's Day

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Gap will launch a limited edition handbag for its (Product) RED campaign. The bag was originally created in December for Gap's European collection with help from fashion guru Katie Grand. Katie, fashion editor of Pop Magazine, has recreated the Mulberry Roxanne bag in a sweatshirt jersey material that will be available in both red and grey. The bag goes on sale tomorrow, but unfortunately it's only available at one location in the US at 5th Avenue and 54th Street in NY. But Fab's already spotted it on eBay.

Katie Grand, the famed British stylist who is also founder and editor of Pop Magazine, has been named creative director of Mulberry.

Grand, who has styled shows for Prada, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, and Proenza Schouler, is sure to give Mulberry plenty of her trademark flair. Her first full collection for the luxury line will be for Spring/Summer 2009, which debuts in Fall 2008.

Announcing the 2012 Grammy Award Nominations

For the second year in a row, the Recording Academy has given a hip-hop artist the most Grammy nominations. Last year, it was rapper Eminem with eight, and this year, Kanye West leads the nominees with seven chances at the golden gramophone, including a song of the year nod for "All of the Lights." West is also nominated twice in the rap album of the year category for his collaboration with Jay-Z on Watch the Throne and his own album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Brit crooner Adele wasn't far behind Kanye, picking up six nominations for her album 21, as well as a shot at song of the year with "Rolling in the Deep."

Bruno Mars also did well, racking up six nominations (that's down one from last year for those keeping track), while newcomers like Nicki Minaj and dubstep artist Skrillex are up for the best new artist category. Cupcake Transporting Tip: Add a Lollipop Stick

When a surprise shipment of lava fudge cupcakes arrived yesterday from Georgetown Cupcake, the first thing I noticed were the lollipop sticks in each treat. "What are those for?" I wondered aloud. Katie reassured me that they served a grand purpose: to prevent the icing top of the cupcakes from smudging against their packaging while en route.

Because I usually transport cupcakes in boxes, I'd never thought to do the same - but each dessert was flawless and untouched, even after a cross-country road trip. Brilliant! This won't set you back much, either. Fifty sticks are an affordable $2 online, and a disposable cupcake carrier is only a few bucks from a local bakery. How do you keep cupcakes smear free?

In the grand tradition of dual roles and movie switcheroos, Grace and Cordelia trade places so that the girls can have the glam vacation they wanted and Cordelia can let her hair down as a regular girl. Words of Advice For Our Teenage Selves

In our interview with author Allison Winn Scotch, she said she'd tell her 17-year-old self "that it's all going to work out even if it seems like it's not." I have to agree that most teenagers need that reassurance. We all remember when something like our crush not inviting us to prom was the END OF THE WORLD, but looking back, it really wasn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Annie says she'd tell her high school self "don't try to grow up so fast" because she wishes she would have let herself be a kid. I'd probably tell myself back then just to relax and don't constantly be worried about what other people are thinking of you, because they probably were too concerned with themselves to notice if you had a bad hair day.
