We caught up with Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig at the HP Fashion Celebration where the two designers chatted about creating 3D lookbooks and how the new technology allows clients a more dynamic way to see their designs. Additionally, they share their inspiration behind the Spring 2012 line and the key to dressing for the red carpet.

Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week: Marchesa

We can always expect show-stopping dresses at a Marchesa presentation, and its 2011 Spring collection didn't disappoint. At all. Upon entering its intimate space at the Chelsea Art Museum, we were first treated to an enormous ebony and pearl gown of endless tulle inspired by what Keren Craig and new mom Georgina Chapman called "an Orientalist journey."

Then they departed from that idea with a series of baggy lace jumpsuits and laser-cut floral minis. Georgina's supportive husband, Harvey Weinstein, held court while she hung back and did press with Keren. Other notables like Molly Sims, Petra Nemcova, and Olivia Palermo turned out - Kelly Osbourne put up her new long hair and told us she's so excited to see lots of camels, corals, and beiges this season since "they look really good on me when I have a fake tan!" Georgina and Keren stuck to a palette of ivory, mint, and rose, giving us their latest crop of dresses bound to be spotted on future red carpets. One more cool thing about this presentation - we spotted some kind assistants walking around and actually feeding the models peanut M&Ms and apple juice! Amazing.

Marchesa Enters Handbag Land

Marchesa is known for its ultraglamorous gowns, but the luxury house is about to be recognized for its equally stunning accessories. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have decided to enter handbag land for Spring '10. "We were frustrated because we couldn’t find [an evening] bag to fit it all," said Craig. The collection consists of 28 clutches and evening cases with elaborate details such as beading, pleating and corsetry. Elements of jewelry are also in the mix - handles have beads and crystals. Expect to find Marchesa handbags in evening-wear departments where its dresses are sold, as well as on the main floor in accessories departments. If I'm excited, then Rachel Zoe is for sure going bananas!

A Night of a Thousand Lights and Some Beautiful Ladies

Diane Kruger left her hot man Joshua Jackson at home and slipped into something glamorous for last night's "A Night of a Thousand Lights" party to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in NYC. She wasn't all by her lonesome, however, as she met up to make model-y faces for the camera by the side of Michelle Monaghan among others. Diane is quite the red carpet pro these days, but she always seems to keep it interesting and help light up the night.

The party, which benefited St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in NYC, was attended by none other than fashionable, Marchesa-clad ladies. Diane Kruger, Iman, Michelle Monaghan (whose swirly accordian-pleated dress I want), Joy Bryant, and Mary Alice Stephenson all schmoozed, wined, and dined to the background of a Marchesa fashion show. On Our Radar: Celebrities Customize Fendi Baguette

I already ordained it Simply Fab, but I think the Fendi Paint-Your-Own Baguette Tote may have just gotten Fabber.

In celebration of the Fendi Baguette's 10th Anniversary, the Italian fashion house asked big names like Scarlett Johansson, Kim Cattrall, Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, and Project Runway Season 4 contestant Chris March to each customize their own Fendi Baguette.

The products - Marchesa's has black and white hand-embroidered feathers on it - will be sold for $2,500 each on eLuxury.com starting April 17, and the proceeds will be donated to the designer's selected charities.

Ever since Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman designed the wedding gown she wore for her nuptials last December, she's had bridal on the brain.

In between making a $200,000 gown for soon-to-be bride Coleen McLoughlin, Chapman and her design partner Keren Craig are putting together a capsule collection of wedding gowns to launch this month. Expect lots of glamorous frills on the yet to be seen blanche confections.

Marchesa Fall 2012

The ethereal collection of Marchesa gowns shown for Fall 2012 left us with one question: which A-list celeb will wear which dress on which red carpet? One by one, models floated out in decadent floral appliqué bodices in golds, crimson reds, and aquamarine teals, complete with even more ornate tulle-enhanced skirts, fit-and-flare silhouettes, and sheer formfitted overlays. Marchesa dresses are more about fantasy than anything else, and these dresses had a romantic feel, as if they had been plucked from the bodies of different heroines in Edwardian-era novels. There were looks for a princess in the full-skirted ball gowns, sheer lace dresses with asymmetric hems that would belong to the sexy mistress, and the queen who leads her country into battle - we can't think of a better look than the short black leather dress with black knee-high gladiator sandals.

Trends: lace embroidery, feathers, gold detailing, lace
Colors: red, gold, cream, black, baby blue
Key Piece: a red embroidered dress with a huge skirt was a showstopper, and we love the short, light cocktail dresses.
Accessories: luxe gladiator sandals and delicate pointy-toe heels.
Who Would Wear It: Blake Lively will wear the short cocktail dresses all year, and Marchesa fans like Lea Michele, Halle Berry, and Jessica Biel will all give these dresses a spin on the red carpet.

Stacy Keibler, Bar Refaeli, and Jenna Dewan Dress Up For Marchesa

Stacy Keibler, Jenna Dewan, and Bar Refaeli met up in the front row of yesterday's Marchesa show in NYC. The presentation from designers Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman is one of the biggest draws for stars every season. Georgina's husband, Harvey Weinstein, was also on hand to check out the collection, as was Vogue's Anna Wintour. Both Bar and Jenna have been making the rounds in the Big Apple over the last few days - make sure to check out all of our Fall Fashion Week coverage! Jenna was a big fan of Keren and Georgina's creations, tweeting, "The Marchesa Fashion show was absolutely breathtaking! A fairy tale come to life. I loved every single dress!" Stacy arrived on the East Coast recently to see just two shows, Michael Kors and Marchesa. She's got another big photo op around the corner with the Oscars on Feb. 26, and perhaps she'll take some inspiration from the runways when it comes to choosing a dress for her upcoming big night with boyfriend George Clooney.

Style Highlights From Last Night's ACE Awards

Some of our favorite designers, models, and celeb cum designers came out last night for the Accessories Council ACE Awards. Nicole Richie - who received Influencer of the Year - looked sleek in a black Antonio Berardi gown (this designer's popularity is rapidly growing of late) while model Coco Rocha stunned in Zac Posen and a necklace from her brand spanking new Coco Rocha for Senhoa line. Petra Nemcova went for a siren-red gown from Notte by Marchesa (Marchesa designers Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman attended the event). One of the honorees of the night was accessories darling Rebecca Minkoff, who won the Breakthrough Award. She looked super chic in a black cocktail dress and one of her own clutches. The big winner?
