Fergie has joined with Belgian brand Kipling for a second round of handbags.

The new Spring collection includes totes, satchels and duffels in bright patent leathers, neons, and bold prints that express Fergie's subversive style. The bags run from $38-$138 and are available at Kipling-USA.com.

A lot of the collection reminds me of Gwen Stefani: the trademark yellow, green, red, and bold prints are all present - do you think Fergie was influenced by Gwen?

Fab Flash: Fergie Signs Handbag Deal with Kipling

It has been announced, that Kipling North America has signed a deal with Fergie (Stacy Ferguson) to design two handbag collections. One will be for Fall 2007 and the other for Spring 2008. This will be the fun and funky three time Grammy winner's first handbag project to date. Fergie says,

“As with every project that I’m involved with, I plan to put all of my heart and creativity into this one, and I’m thrilled to work with such an amazing brand. I look forward to putting my personal touch on each and every design in my signature Kipling® collections.”

Kipling, which was founded in 1987, has become ever more popular than for just their original high quality backpacks. They have forayed into successful lines of carryall bags for a variety of lifestyles.

Fergie's collection will have a campaign ad as well as many in and out of store events that will star none other than the glamorous gal. You can expect to see the new bags in stores nationwide beginning on September 1st.

Behind the Seams: Fergie's Shoe Debut in Vegas

Fergie's bag collection with Kipling has been well underway. Now, the blossoming star and fashion designer is giving another favorite accessory a go. Yesterday - in a Dolce & Gabbana sheath - she unveiled a shoe collection with Brown Shoe in Las Vegas at the WSA Show.

From what I can see, styles range from sassy and colorful platforms, cool gladiators, exotic sandals, and sporty kicks. Looks like Fergie took a survey of her shoe collection and applied it here. Fergie sat front and center at the mini-runway show and everyone looked pleased - especially her.

As the style-setter put it, "I have always loved fashion because it's a great way to express your mood. And I'm definitely a shoe lover. The right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit, and even change how a woman feels about herself. A woman can wear confidence on her feet with a high stiletto, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat."

Amen to that. Fergie's shoes will debut in Spring '09 - are you looking forward to wearing some Fergalicous pumps?

Who Wore It Better? Black Chanel Tie Frock

You can never get enough of Chanel! Fergie wore her black Chanel frock back in July, and she wore it again for the Kipling handbag launch at Macy's in Herald Square. Clearly she loves this dress. Well, so does socialite Tinsley Mortimer. Both ladies look nice but I prefer Fergie's black and white pumps. I just wish they both had pulled their hair back so we can see the dress in it's entirety. You?
