Theyskens' Theory Runway at New York Fashion Week Fall 2011

Olivier Theyskens's capsule collection for Theory went somewhat against the grain - not at all a bad thing. While there were deliciously flared mustard corduroys, wide-leg palazzo pants, and the occasional supersexy maxidress, the majority of the collection focused on mini hemlines contrasted by must-have floor-length coats. The moody palette ranged from icy blues to stirring slate grays with dashes of deep wines and a pair of eye-catching red trouser pants. We have a feeling the cozy knits and impeccable outerwear pieces will fly off the racks come fall, but until then catch our entire coverage here!

We have hit September! Yes! My jacket, layering, and boot-loving self is cheering quite eagerly for the upcoming season of Fall. And yes, I'm aware it's still 95 degrees outside, but at least the month title "September" makes me seem a bit less ridiculous when all I want to do is make posts about sweaters and boots, right? I'm just so in love with the season of Fall because it's just the right amount of cold where you don't have to look like you just got off of a ski lift to stay warm, but you can certainly break out all of your favorite jackets to wear! So, when I begin posting cold-weather clothes like a mad man (or woman for that matter) over the next couple of weeks, don't say you weren't warned.

2010 Fall NYFW Trend: Cocoon Cozy

Fall is always about bundling up, but Fall 2010 ditched ladylike and attacked extreme coziness - cocoon cozy, to be exact. Phillip Lim kept his sweaters cropped with extra long sleeves, Rad Hourani took his collars up, way up, and the Rodarte sisters opted for light colors and major fuzz. Other knits were oversized, and included rounded hems and large hoodies.

Fab Flash: Serena Williams Shows Off Her Design Skills At HSN

On April 30, Serena Williams will be taking her style from the tennis courts to the HSN with the debut of her accessories and clothing collection, called Signature Statement. "I always want to make a statement, both on and off the court," said Williams. "One of my dreams has always been to share gorgeous gifts of fashion and luxury with the world. Off the court, my passion is fashion. Signature Statement is my own line of accessories and fashion, complete from jewelry to dresses."

The collection, retailing between $30 to $100, will include a trendy collection of jewels, handbags, and knitwear. Williams personally describes the accessories as "feminine, classic, statement pieces." Tell me: Are you interested in seeing Serena's skills off the court?

Fendi Honeycomb Knit Skirt: Love It or Hate It?

I have a sweet tooth, so naturally, I was drawn to this Fendi Honeycomb Knit Skirt ($1,250). The geometric cut-outs are interesting and artistic. It also looks super cozy, but I can see myself majorly snagging this baby on my first wear. The banded, bubble-like hem is also a concern.

Fall Glimpse: Knit Parade

Knits always feel right fireside. Fall's knit parade keeps things interesting with new silhouettes, pops of color, and dramatic styling. Missoni, adored for its signature knits, threw this tunic on Freja (left) atop colorful layering. Duly noted. It looks nonchalant and studied - how do they do it?
