Not only was Alicia Key's violet Moschino dress lovely, her contrasting clutch elevated her look. I am guilty of grabbing the same old vintage black clutch when I'm running out the door, but I am inspired to consider a switcharoo, or two. Though I love my black clutch, a contrasting clutch shows the world you have fun with fashion, you don't always play it safe.

Actress Angie Harmon looks like a sexy and modern mermaid in her turquoise dress at the ABC All Star Party. I love how she kept her bodice covered and showed off her slim (and tan) stems. Other than her purse and shoes, she wore no other accessories, so I gave her pretty earrings to complete the look!

Let's face it: We're stuck with velvet forever. Because it's cozy, warm, and especially festive during the holiday season, velvet is just one of those things that will always be in style for fall and winter. Thankfully, I've found the cutest purse and flats combo at Scoop that will add sparkle and snuggle to any dreary winter day.
