Fashion is sometimes about creating an illusion. openfan knows what I'm talking about. She doesn't know how to paint but that's not stopping her from looking like a hippie artist.

Winslet is on fire. Just when we were talking about how we're so over Herve Leger dresses over here, Kate rocked one at The Reader premiere in NYC. Airbrushing, what?

No, you haven't come across a How Would You Wear It? post. Since Tara Reid has been trying her best to look nice lately, I thought I'd commend her efforts by giving her a spot on Celebrity Style.

Katharine McPhee looks ultra feminine, especially standing against that colorful graffiti wall at Fuse Studios in New York City. Her chain halter dress is very chic. I only wish she had pulled some of her hair back so we could see her slender shoulders.

I love the current trend of metallic sandals - they're just so, so space age. I couldn't be happier about all of the platform-style pumps that are trotting out for Fall 2006. Not only do these styles make your legs looks shapely and long, but they are also surprisingly easy to walk in, thanks to a thick heel and stacked toe bed. The glamorous, 1940s style looks great with dress pants, pencil skirts, and skinny jeans.
