One of my faves, Marc Jacobs, debuted his Marc collection in London this time around and it was a sweet finale to London Fashion Week. Why London? Possibly to celebrate the opening of his first London store?

Jonathan Saunders is another bloke with an eye for color and contrasts. He delivered a fluid, yet architectural collection that I found to be an interesting perspective.
With dashing colors and black statements, the collection was both hard and soft.

Christopher Kane was one of the breakthrough talents from the Spring collections. This young lad apprenticed at Versace, which explains his trademark body hugging designs. But he definitely has a 'je ne sais quoi.'

Wowsers! Gareth Pugh is a young designer who just showed his Fall 2007 collection in London and was profiled in Vogue this month; this look really makes me wonder why. While it is important for fashion to have its misfits and hooligans, hello John Galliano?, it's sometimes hard to pinpoint who the real tastemakers are.

The cult womenswear label, Antipodium has taken the London fashion scene by storm with its eclecticism and dose of intelligence.

Biba is hardly a household name in the United States, but across the pond, the British retailer is legendary. Founded in 1964 by Barbara Hulanicki, Biba started as a hip and exclusive London boutique and by the 1970s had grown into a fashionable department store attracting fans such as Mick Jagger, Twiggy, and Racquel Welch. Much like Topshop today, the store was both fashion-forward and affordable to the masses.

There's no question that Kate Moss is a fashion trendsetter, but now she's trying her hand at being a fashion designer. In an article in today's Women's Wear Daily confirms the rumor that Kate just inked a deal to design a line of clothing for super-fabulous British retail chain Topshop. (Seriously, if you haven't been to Topshop, you should make a pilgrimage to the retailer's London flagship store ASAP.
