UGG boots are bulky enough with all that thick shearling, but when you add ribbons and more height, it's just too much. I can't see myself, or anyone else for that matter, pulling off Love From Australia's Vixen Suede Over-the-Knee Boot ($400). In Antarctica they might come in handy, but I'd choose cold over tacky any day. Are you with me?

Zac Efron Makes a Final Promotional Push Prior to His Lucky Opening Day

Zac Efron took off from LAX yesterday and touched down in NYC a few hours later. He was dressed casually in a WeSC t-shirt and beanie and kept a low profile in large dark sunglasses. Zac's visiting the East Coast to promote his Nicholas Sparks film, The Lucky One. Zac stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in LA on Monday, where Jimmy challenged him to a bra unhooking contest, and he's expected to visit Live With Kelly tomorrow prior to the film's opening on Friday.

Zac and his costar Taylor Schilling have been all over the globe in recent weeks talking about their steamy love scenes. The pair recently returned from a weeklong trip to Australia's Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Zac's been playing it cool talking about his intimate moments with Taylor, but it's his love scene with Nicole Kidman in The Paperboy that really got him nervous. According to Zac, "That one my heart was racing for. . . I'm a big fan of Nicole's for a long time. I felt like I was stepping into Moulin Rouge."

Jennifer Aniston Talks to Marie Claire Australia About Her "Protector" Justin

Jennifer Aniston covers the May issue of Marie Claire Australia with a photo that was recycled from an older Elle shoot. However, Jen's interview with the publication is all new. She chatted up her and boyfriend Justin Theroux's movie Wanderlust, which opens in Australia on April 25. Jen and Justin are currently hanging out together around their LA home base and were also recently spotted on a dinner date with Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Inside the magazine, the 43-year-old actress dished on her love life with Justin, going topless, and finally letting her guard down. Here's more from the interview with Jennifer Aniston in Marie Claire Australia:

On her relationship with boyfriend Justin Theroux: "He's a protector, for sure. He's just a good human being, and so funny."
On her topless scene for Wanderlust: "There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that. But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately. I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. It was bizarre to know that these were actually nudists - because there's a nudist colony in Clarkesville - and how comfortable they are being nude."
On not wanting to be so guarded: "I've really made a conscious effort to not wall myself up like that again. I built those walls pretty high in the past. I think you miss out on a lot of stuff when you're so protected and isolated."

Miranda Kerr dined with her mom, Therese, and her two guys, Flynn and Orlando Bloom, at Potts Point in Sydney earlier today. The foursome smiled as they left the restaurant, and Flynn even got a lift from grandma. Flynn celebrated his first birthday last month, and at the time Miranda said he was just on the cusp of walking. Now, Flynn is starting to strut his stuff like his supermodel mom.

Miranda won't hit the catwalk at New York's Fashion Week, but she will meet with fans in Australia tomorrow to share skincare secrets and suggest Valentine's Day gift ideas. Miranda and Orlando got a jump on the holiday when they lounged poolside with Flynn, sipping champagne and sharing sweet kisses, last week. Miranda Kerr wore a red Georges Chakra dress for the Qantas Airways Spirit of Australia Party last night at LA's Roosevelt Hotel. The model is one of the airline's new celebrity ambassadors, along with fellow Aussie David Whitehill. Miranda seems super excited about her latest job. She tweeted yesterday, "I'm excited to represent Qantas as a global Ambassador. I love everything Australian, and Qantas is an iconic Australian company." She was joined by many other celebs from the land down under, including Chris Hemsworth, Olivia Newton-John, and Ryan Kwanten. John Travolta went as well despite being 100% American, but he is an aviation enthusiast. We caught a moment with Miranda on her way inside.
